Some things that really bug me in this game

But this is not real life, this is a videogame. I don't want real life inconveniences to affect me here. Or would you rather your character be dead permanently once he dies in game too?

Unequip, repair, then reequip is an unnecessary step that adds absolutely nothing to the enjoyment of the game.

To add, why is there no /sea (all) ?

Because RMT like to use it to bot tells to the entire server with the search function trying to convince them to buy gil. They tried a word censorship system in 11 and that only brought a whole new set of problems to deal with like the inability to type full sentences or certain words in chat.

As for your number 2 complaint, I don't think it would be very useful to know where people in your friends list or linkshell are because the zones are very few and huge in 14. Even if each region is divided up into East, West, North, South and Central sections, the distinct areas can't be known by sharp borders on a map.

Even in a video game they most have real life laws and FFXIV is all about realism i'm sorry you take it off put it in your sell bag and ask someone to repair maybe they could make it easy to make it go to the sell bag faster like.

Click Body--> send to repair --> price --> done ---> wait for repair---> back on your body.

@Wolfie it's about realism even in a online game they should have some type of Realism.

The user interface is there to make things simple for you, not make things more difficult.

If you put something up for repair while you have it equipped, the assumption is that you have unequipped it. Actually making you unequip it and take two additional steps is unnecessary. Perhaps, for the sake of realism, the item could become 'unequipped' when someone actually goes into repair mode. All the while it is in your bazaar, however, it should still be equippable.

When we can teleport around at the drop of a hat, is it really that far fetched to believe someone can repair equipped items? Its an unnecessary inconvenience, something this game has FAR too many of.

Actually it is not true, there was never a "/sea all" in the same way FFXI had it. There was only a population counter which had nothing to do with /searching.
