The game is only 3-4 months after release. Everything you want is offered in MMOs that have established and compiled content and progression for many years. I've never seen an MMO come out at release with enough content to last players a year. Every MMO to date has released with just enough content to last a few months and then slowly compile it from there.

Also if you want people to support you, a petition letter with facts and community support would do you much better than what you currently have.

As always, do not lump the community with you. You and everyone else who agrees with you will be bored of the content but that is not going to be the same for others.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there a whole developers letter about housing? This letter was pretty much all about dungeons. And next letter: PvP, dailies and treasure hunt.

Also, according to alot of players what you ask for is unneccesairy fluff. I do not agree with them, but for some dungeon is the only real content.

When content, specifically open world, gets put in to the game.
The idea of a time sink here is wait until next week and do it again.
Everything else you can complete in an hour. Best weapon in the game? Sure 1 hour please.

Even from the little info about the "dailies" it seems like they will only provide minimal content for a minimal amount of time in open world. One quest, come back tomorrow. Usually SE implements these kinds of quests with rewards taht arent even worth the time anyway.

There is content outside of dungeons. Point. Blank. Period.

Just a couple of weeks ago it was "We don't have enough dungeon content/outside content" Now they give BOTH and there are people still complaining? All I'm saying is, I would hate working for Square Enix because this community are such faultfinders.

I see no problem with outside content since (to me) there is tons of content outside or Dungeons (Doh!), but of course this is just my opinion on the game.

So a tuna sandwich isn't an actual food, cause I don't like it?

Wish people instead would bicker over the quality and the longevity and legitimate concerns of the content, but hey, instead let's all circlejerk and moan about how there's nothing to do.

Though ive played since 2010 and loved FFXIV I too am already sick of dungeons, I cringe every reset because I know its time to do them again. New ones will be nice and refreshing but for how long? :(

I will say however that "join a surprise dungeon for a bonus" is kinda cool.

I too enjoy reading how people play a MMORPG and are unhappy that it is missing horseback riding, school classes, tennis, bowling, after work bars, etc.

The world would be a much better place if people playing MMORPGs expected MMORPG content. Which basically is just crafting, dungeons and grinding levels, if one were to be very precise about it.

Personally though, I want vanity system added, but at least I don't go around making threads about how the game sucks until I have what I want.

I kind of like the idea of after work bars lol! I've been known to take a stool at. Buscaron's Druthers waiting for a FATE to spawn lol
