Titan HM Item Level Check Please Yoshi..!!

Titan is beatable with AF/ak gear so if there is to be gear check it wouldn't really help you, and if they put the bar above that, it will suck out lot of fun for some of us like to go in with minimum gear for the extra challenge.

you really have to luck out with df to do titan.

You need to form a party outside of it so you don't have to use 2 tanks. the extra dps from another real dpser will help alot.

When I run in CF, I switch to Cleric Stance for heart. Warrior and Sword Stance Paladin damage isn't that bad. It's certainly doable at 2-2-4. That said, it IS terrible that square gives these parties an -additional- increase in difficulty by not giving them the optimal party. I've seen plenty of parties that don't even get a monk or dragoon. Plenty of those have passed anyway, but considering Square obviously expects at-level parties to use LB, that's a pretty bad oversight.

Not sure what you're on about here, is ilvl even calculated in-game yet? I know it shows up on your gear sets as for example "WHM (lv.90)" but they'd be idiots to base it off that, any moron with few gil to spare can get a lvl 90 weapon.

Gear requirements for content is coming with 2.1.

I think a primal weapon and some DL should be the minimum requirement. IL70 is about what I think is needed by everyone especially if you don't have experience with the patterns. Or haven't made it to P5 enough to know whats going to happen. Was in a DF group today where everyone was IL55 with pinks and AF. I was OOM in the 2nd phase and saw each bomb pattern 3 time each. Its rude as hell to enter this fight geared like that. Dont care what your reason or weather or not you killed it before on another job or what ever. Thats bullsh**. You cant survive tumult post heart in that gear know matter how good your healers are or how much skills you have. I need proof if your going to argue other wise. Being carried by 4-5 relics don't count.
New guy joined the FC today or when ever and we took him into titan for his first relic. He was dead 99% of the time and we was getting smashed for a while before we swapped a few members and tried again. This is a group with 6/8 +1 relics. So gear dont mean much if you cant dodge but it mean everything when your dps is so low bomb pattern repeat 3 times and your defense and hp so low that 3 tumults kills you or you get one shotted by a single plume from full health. Your wasting everyone's time. I would feel like crap if I entered like that and then dragged everyone down cause Im dead or not contributing enough to its death with my dps. I dont even think you deserve a relic till you can survive the whole damn fight. No way IL55 group can do that even with perfect dodging.

Just my opinion on it since I fought it so many times. Maybe I a bit pissed cause my FC just carried a noob through the fight and I was part of it. I feel like crap and want him to give his relic back till he can earn it. lol

Well, this really speaks for itself. Is he a strawman or is he really this stupid/heartless? I can't believe there are FCs out there who would allow him to speak publicly about a new member like this.

i still stick with my original statement, that its not gear so much, here is a video of players wearing nothing but bikinis and relic +1s fighting titan, none of them take unneeded damage
