I'm fine with this.

That was more of a general statement. We don't quite have a fully adjustable UI, and the party UI is not quite there as far as filtering out unnecessary information. We have a dye system, but it only works on crafted gear. We have decent character customization, but there are severe limitations. We have an end game raid, but it's not quite the grand-scale adventure one thinks of when considering raiding (in part a result of the very disjointed instance-by-instance design of Coil). We have some nice armor designs, but they're buried under the mountains of potato sack robes and tin cans and reskinned subligars. We've got a chat box, but I can't use it without giving myself a blazing headache because apparently transparency sliders are hard. I can make alts, but I can't mail stuff to them. I can have private conversations with friends, but only if both of us aren't in an instance. And yea, we have emotes like /doze, but they come with weird, arbitrary restrictions, such as only being temporary animations or only usable in certain locations.
That's what I mean by settling for "not quite".
It's not like a /sleep toggle using the animations that already exist in the game is that much to ask for.
We're glad you guys are excited for the new emote to use in Free Company Housing beds, and understand many of you want to use it elsewhere as well. However, the team has decided against the use of this emote in other places to prevent the taking of not especially appropriate screenshots. Likewise, the new emote cannot be used on Inn beds because lying down on that bed logs a player out of the game.
