[dev] Allow Thread Creator to Moderate Own Thread (Forum)

People from all and any sides will delete and moderate anything they disagree with, this idea wouldn't work at all.

Firstly you are posting in the wrong sub-forum.

The reason why so much hate is directed to the suggestive post's in the general forum is because most of the trolls hang out here.

Go to the relevant sub-forum in the case of this post you would want SITE FEEDBACK > FEEDBACK & SUGGESTIONS.

Saying that I don't think having the thread starter being able to dictate what others say in their thread is a good thing.

At first I wasn't so keen on the idea, but then I saw your edit and I think that's reasonable.

I think it is a considerable idea. I mean, of course, it would make things easier for the mods, and i have seen many posts that don't really have the constructive feedback that some OP's ask for.

Some topics made by people that really would'nt abuse this idea, Cairdeas, starlord, Moth, Rentahamster.. etc.

If they did abuse the power, then people have a right to report that member for being one-sided. It would be easier for the mods to actually point out the trolls.

Either way, it makes the mods an easier job and it keeps the actual good threads from being taken over by said trolls.

Pretty much what everyone has already said. Easily to abuse. No thank you.

I think it would also make people think twice before posting something like "LOL go back to WoW N00B!!!@#@#" and end up posting something like "i disagree because..." or not post at all if they have nothing constructive.

"some people have" not everyone.

If you think about it, isn't it easy to abuse every thread as it lies? All you have to do is say. "Nope, i dont agree, your idea is stupid."

Now if that were to happen, the OP could delete those posts and people could easily ignore trolls and be able to actually post their own opinions and not be influenced by these short-sentence posts, give more of a reason why something doesn't work or why it would work.

OP's shouldn't even be bothered to delete constructive posts like that because they are actually worth reading.

So your saying that NO ONE can create any threads about how they dislike the game? OR hate threads? What I'm saying is DON'T TROLL others positive/idea threads because you hate the game. Constructive Threads are how the game improves, not Trolling them

Nuru, responding "your idea is stupid" is a different kind of abuse. Allowing people to censor their own threads defeats the purpose of a forum.
