It's fine if you don't heed the warning. I'm not obligated to tell anyone anything, just trying to warn people to be careful when purchasing from the market board in light of recent events. As far as what happens, that has yet to be determined. There are obvious database issues going on internally with SE right now. I won't go into details as what those are because yoshi has requested we not do that. But would you rather risk your account safety on the chance that nothing will happen??

But of course do as you wish, no one is forcing you to heed my warning and no one is forcing you to read this post.

When you try to buy an item no matter if you are successful or not data is still being sent from your side to theirs. That data in an unsecure database structure is very powerful indeed. Sorry for being vague but I think you can gather the possibilities.

I for one am hoping im wrong and it is just one of the things people have suggested sever transfer/banned accounts.

I dont mind the warning, you just were very vague about why it was a warning. If there is no way to buy from someone isn't the point moot? Right now you are just basing this "warning" off of speculation and rumor. Boards are full of that stuff.
