Please let me play multiple classes.

Let's just make sure the topic is accurate though:

This is not about not being able to play the game.

This is specifically about two features that you are unable to do:
* Gear up in Allagan Gear
* Enter Coil

Both of these things can be done on multiple classes, on the same week. Oh, wait, that's not what you meant?

So what you really mean to say is: "I cannot fight the same boss on multiple classes to gear them." Again, this is per week, because you can most certainly fight the same boss, using different classes. I've done it twice.

So the real argument is: "Please SE, let me fight the same boss, using different classes, within a week span so that I can gear it up. Specifically Coil Bosses" And to that: Fair enough.

The Myth thing is a pain, but you can STILL gear up multiple classes, any time of the week, using the myth tokens (You just wont be optimal in x class, which ironically enough, you only need to be to clear turn 5)

Why do you need allagan on every job you play. Am I missing a dungeon that comes after coil?

I believe Crystal Tower is also a weekly lock-out, meaning you can't use it to gear if they use the same RNG system as they have for everything else.

So at best you can still only gear 1 class properly and then have 1 class that you sub-gear.

What I think is going to be funny, really, in a horrible way. Is that come 2.1, they'll probably do something to give people more access to myth tomes, increase the weekly cap for instance alongside the increased dungeons that drop them. That way, people will have more opportunities to acquire AF+1 gear, possibly even get to the point where they have 2 full classes geared out on full AF+1... then, 2.2. hits, 3-4 months later, with *drum roll* the introduction of AF2 (they showed concept art last live letter), which you know you will want over any ilvl90 gear.

And it begins again.

Actually, reflecting on that, I'm almost tempted to stop using myth tomes now myself on my blm and decking out my smn instead. BLM is my main, but SMN is a fun "mess" around job. I could deck that one out now, then throw excess tomes back into BLM, or Bard, before AF2 comes out so I don't feel that burn quite so badly. Hmm, possabilities.

I hope they don't increase the Myth cap. I'd much prefer if they kept it at 300 or even reduced it to 200 and just made it so separate classes had separate lock-outs/caps.

You mean that you're stuck with gear that's strong enough to cover 95% of the game's content, including turn 1-3 and maybe even 4 depending on your class and group comp? Strong enough for you to do CT and use it to gear the secondary class?

Huh? You do realise you can't use more than 1 class in Coil right? Why are you bringing it up? Congrats, you have the potential to clear T1-4, but you can't play it, why? No reason.

i made a second character to get around this, i suggest you do the same and stop crying.
