Magitek Mount Jump Party at Rev Toll!

The magi mount is a nod to early ff games - I really dig it

And this is why they should have never added jumping to the game, or taken player collision detection out.

Jumping in MMO's always leads to some form of platforming in MMO's. This is bad. Keep platforming out of mmo's. I don't want another SWTOR where I have to platform to some stupidly inaccessible point to get a marginal stat boost.

Especially when your character was a dragoon who could, apparently, leap so high that the enemy would almost forget you were there c_c

Besides, at this point it's silly to say "remove jump". There are puzzles in the game that require jumping to complete.

I've never understood why so many people insist on jumping in MMOs. FFXI, GW1, and a number of other MMOs went without them and it never seemed like an issue. Also the jumping always is unrealistically high jumping.

Also the complete lack of collision detection sucks; breaks immersion.
