I agree, it wouldnt be more than right to give us EU players our own datacenter within europe.
We pay the same monthly fee but get worse preformance than the other regions. Atleast every other game gives you the choice which region to play in, here we dont have that choice. I feel it's a cheap move on SEs part to not give us our own datacenter. I just dread the frustration it will bring when PvP goes live.
Each day that goes by makes me think about quitting more and more.

Agree with OP.
I am one of those lucky ones and rarely experience lag in form of AOE's hitting me after I've moved out, but I am hoping this would somewhat reduce the char and monster movement differences. Maybe then we could actually get that flank or back hits to count as they are supposed to.
We could look into what Japan servers the devs are playing on.. transfer there.. and make royal asses of ourselves until they are forced to appease us.

If the data centres were located in Europe, I would definitely be playing on them instead of the NA ones.
