So it means SE has dumb translators again? Wow what a surprise.. Wonder when devs will finally learn to speak what is on their mind (they should have learned it in school) and translators will do their job.
It's not a mistake on their part, it makes perfect sense?
If I make a list of things I'm going to do and say "this is my list of things to do for Summer," what the hell would you assume my time frame would be? Obviously it's going to be by the end of Summer.
This is a mistake on the reader's part for misinterpreting the line.
readers will always assume its the earliest in that timeframe
smart people understand it can be anytime within it
if you hear "early 2011", people assume they mean january 1st(im not kidding people have been known to throw fits over not getting stuff in several mmos when a similar timeframe has been given)
if you say next week, it better mean the 1st day of the week
early june means june 1st
get the point?
that is the mentality of the common MMO player nowadays
Didn't they say: Remember, these are our plans until summer 2011!
Until means before summer starts. It's their mistake for not being specific enough, they should have learned that by now.
I guess no one read the post saying that it was a translation error and a dev confirmed in another thread that it is, in fact, before summer 2011.
Oh I see, I misunderstood your post :P Yes if they said "until" it was an error. I didn't read it before it had been corrected though >.<
