NA maintenance times.

I am not a fan of this maintenance time either and it cuts right into a lot of North American play times. They need to shift this to 3 or 4 am PST for maintenance.

So it eats up JP prime time. Good luck with that.

Australia time is the most reasonable solution per worldwide population spread. Deal with it, every worldwide MMO has the same dilemma to consider, switching MMOs will not change your existence on a spinning globe full of other players.

Or you know, instead of dumping it on the same group of people over and over again, they could vary the times. Also, just so you are aware, Australia and Japan share the same timezone.

This could be in response to other threads calling for them to rotate the maintenance times. Or maybe the dev's needed to coordinate with the data centre. Either way, maintenance cuts into my playing time regardless of it being 9-1 am PST or 12-3 am PST. I'm learning to live with it, and hoping it won't be so regular down the road.

Or... I dont know, maybe do maintenance on the JP servers at different times than the maintenance on NA servers?

They already do that. Their maintenance times for the NA/EU server group coincide with their normal business hours.

Dont know if you are aware of this, but there is a forum you can go to and look at what time maintenance is being done.. when they have an "all worlds" maintenance it is happening at the same hours as when they do just NA maintenance. The problem is they are doing it during their business hours instead of adjusting for their customers. Service companies need to adjust to the needs of their customers, not the other way around.
