(>_>... I did just that..... Buy mats give friend, receive HQ, profit.

Are you serious?! You can get a craft to 50 even with no time (which is very little) and still HQ everything!
Yeah, only have to spend over 500k. Everyone has that, right. Pocket change right? And this is the cost when you're already 50. PER CRAFT. How long you think to pay off the craft gear with a RNG? Forever? 2 Forevers?Quote:
Yeah, the fact that you can pretty much guarantee HQ on top tier items is a little silly.
Well, coming from FFXI, I absolutely abhorred the randomness in that crafting system. It was almost all luck (though come to think of it, the overwhelming majority of that game was lottery) despite your skill level. I hated how I'd regularly fail a Lv 5ish recipe (beeswax) on Lv103 (i think..? long time) Alchemist because RNG said so. I was ecstatic to see this game's crafting system.
...and now that I've pretty much got it down pat, it's harder for me to NQ than HQ. I can foresee them doing one of two things: Either nerf the hell out of Hasty Touch, or make a "HQ2" that's more difficult to attain.
You want a challenge? Try HQing an item that's 5 levels above you when you're level 20-30 with NQ mats. Not so easy. The reality is that they don't. I put HQ items on the AH and I'm the only HQ item. There are plenty of middle-tier items that have plenty of space for HQ competition.
There's plenty of rarity in the lvl 40+ range. Yeah, not so much in the lower levels, but it's not like you're going to be using that gear for very long anyway so it really doesn't sell either.
Also, HQ Iron plate is too easy to craft? What is this? I don't even...
I can guarantee HQ on 2-stars without using Hasty Touch. But your HQ2 idea might be nice.Quote:
