Do you want Crafting to be like WOW levels up based on points system instead of exp?

Stop tuning this game into WoW cline. WoW crafting system is boring and useless.

I have never played WoW so i'm not sure of their crafting system, however i feel the crafting system in FFXIV is the best crafting system i've ever played. That's why weaver is my only level 50. It's more enjoyable to me than the combat classes. :)

FFXIV is kinda neat that it uses exp because then we get the leve quests that really helps leveling. WoW's was kinda mindless, just enter the amount of items and push button, wee. The only thing about wows crafting I would like (but not nessessary for sure) is mebe some rare patterns or recipies drop in dungeons or difficult quests for rare item plans and thats it, NOTHING else from that which hence forth shall not be mentioned by meh ever again! ; )

I like the crafting system the way it is except for gathering classes. I do not think they should be classes and think I should be able to mind or harvest stuff as my battle class (e.g. Warrior or Paladin). I also think skinning should be in the game so we can skin leather based mobs we kill for their skins for leatherworking instead of running AK and hoping to get a bunch of them.

I never played WoW, was it really that similar to FFXIV? Because all I see on these forums are comments to do with WoW...

I don't know, I'm not big on the whole looting corpses. your right there need to be a more direct way to obtain some items.
I would like to see the Shepherds class finally introduced instead of doing away with the Other harvesting classes.

FFXIV has the best crafting system on any MMO I have tried so far, let it remain as is, its perfect.

No. Why would you want this? WoW's crafting is a complete waste of space and a good example of what not to do.
