Cause for Concern: Materia & Luminary

I was thinking, though, it would be better to keep it as condensed as possible. Reason being was, I could be wrong but, aren't there stats, like piety for example on cooks, that I could bond in there to assist with crafts?

Materia prices are actually lower than they should be, and they're plummeting on my server. When you think about it, the only items GUARANTEED to give T4 materia is iLvl 70 gear. To get that gear requires a minimum of 9 tome items (1125 tomes), which is 12 dungeon runs. The tome items themselves sell for around 250-350k for the 9, and the crafted item itself sells for 300-800k. On my server, T4 materia WAS around 250k.

This is obviously not worth doing, so the only other way of obtaining T4 materia is from iLvl 55 gear, which has a low chance to be a T4 materia, and even when it DOES become a T4, there's still a good chance it'll be a useless T4 elemental resistance materia. I have converted two full sets, clothes and jewelry of iLvl 55 gear and not got a single T4 before.

Nah, none of those main stats help. iirc in 1.0 you had attribute points for both the main stats and for elemental stats. Those elemental stats use to effect classes, but they got rid of that system to simplify things.
