Yes, i didnt do that, i keep forgetting that the 5 seconds it takes to cast prot and SS is just too long to stand there...

Not looking for "comfort" as you say, if a tank is going to kamikaze a run and wipes, its not my fault. I put this here because tanks need to know that there attitudes affect everyone. you want to finish WP in 9 minutes form a group, dont DF the damn thing

Next time, let them die.

Pros: They realize they did something stupid. If they get angry and leave, they get a 15m penalty while you get a chance for a tank who knows what they're doing.

Cons: None.

Playing on PLD, I've had to let a few people get whacked with adds before they listened to me about following markers or pulling mobs.

Some don't consider it, others don't care.

As a Tank happen the opposite to me, DPS simply rush every single mob they see, don't giving me the time to sign the mobs,start the fight and get aggro.
Personally lose my time trying to explain this situation to the others party member don't work,they start to insult me ecc;they understand only what they want,
so i simply leave the party and i search for a more competent one.

Communication is key. If they want to run off without SS/Prot., don't move and tell them you're not going anywhere until they come back for it.

Yes. Everyone has to work together. Don't initiate cutscenes when the off tank is taking stupid amounts of damage. Don't run and pull as the dps because you're trying to rush things. Don't lock the solo healer out of boss fights because their load time out of a cut scene was 15 seconds too slow (true story).

Yes, I've let tanks die because they were playing stupid and healing stupid is a waste of mana. I also let dps die for the same reasons.

Sometimes letting dps/healers know that being an off tank, is not possible with their class is very much necessary.
Sometimes letting tanks throw themselves into death because of stupid pulls, is also necessary. Sorry buddy, you just can't tank 10 mobs at a time with that gear. Not my fault that I can't heal that much damage quick enough.

Of course, attitudes also seem to follow some people, and for all those people..
