Hopefully this will come at the same time as (or earlier than) the item appearance preview feature that they've said is coming.

I'm fairly sure the devs said early on that they were aware of this, and were working on it. Don't have the source right now though.

I'd bet this feature is added into the game in the upcoming months. There is a reason it's a standard in the MMORPG community.
