Don't do this^. Put all into dexterity. Songs are situational at best. The Battle Voice duration should be enough to to take care of what the party needs. After BV is over drop the song. Foe's Requiem is only really helpful for BLMs and it does squat for Wind Bite and Flaming Arrow.

BRD is only a support class when the party needs it (which is not much, mostly towards the end of fights) any other time (aka most of the time) you are just a DD so spec for that.

lol what?
songs are situational. if you need longer songs, either you waited too long to cast, or your healers/tanks are doing something wrong for the healer to burn through so much mp. on top of that, having your songs up too long can hinder your party also when it comes to burn phases

I think the Piety comment was a joke.

Yes, we are support, but as the lore goes, we provide support by dealing damage from a distance and provide supporting songs when needed.

We'll have around 2,000 MP at 50 which is 'enough'.

If you want MP as a bard nothing is stopping you from getting crafted armor and socketing piety in the available sockets. I filled some pieces of armor with it since my accuracy is already through the roof is it is. Allocate all your points into DEX, DEX materias are absolutely worthless considering they cannot be used on anything that already has DEX on it in the first place.

BASE Dex values for different races start at 17 and go all the way up to 23.
So if you run across someone that tells you 3 Dex matters, but isn't playing Elezen Wildwood(the race with highest base dex), they're just filling you full of hypocritical bull. :X

IDEALLY, you want 30 in Dex. YES.
But in reality, even 6 Dex simply isn't going to make a noticeable difference.

So if you happen to find yourself with the seals to reset your stats, go ahead and do it.
If you don't and don't feel like farming seals, then I wouldn't worry about it.
The gearing/stat requirements simply aren't tight enough in current content for a <2% difference in a base stat to actually matter.

If you're not very good at dodging AoE and don't want to obtain high VIT gears for titan, you can put 15 or 30 points into VIT for higher surviveability.

After you're done with titan(and start getting level 90 gears), change it to 30 DEX for coil.
