Skill Chains and Magic Bursts - Combat coordination

yes lets make chainskills and find out the best one is between wars and brds. sorry every other class in the game but healers, you're not needed anymore they have the best chain everyone else is just gimping themselves. :)

Would anything in this game live long enough for SC's and MB's apart from bosses?

Not really, but I'm OK with that. The same thing goes for limit breaks honestly.

Point taken, there definitely was a much longer time between actions in XI. Still though, a 3 person chain followed by a magic burst, sometimes while kite tanking - it did take /some/ coordination. I guess my main gist is that I want more inter-player coordination in combat, and the SC/MB system seems like a good concept to start with.
