MRD - a DPS?

+ you cant even go all out cuz you are mostly forced to SA spam, you can only use few BBs in the whole run to not get aggro. atm im full str war doing titan on DF (its better than holding the group back with full vit) and i cant use BB that much.

I have used MRD combined with ARC abilities sporting shit gear/level 70 axe and my damage was pretty good. I was pulling 900 crit storm eye (and they do happen often considering you keep straight shots buff on). I'v pugged a titan party and they were pretty amazed with the results. This all has been done in one day


TLDR; More people should go crazy on MRD theory crafting because MRD is OP.

That's because you're always wiping early in the fight / right after the MRD blows a second set of cooldowns, and/or your DPS classes are pretty terrible players.

Edit: Considering your claim is "2x" the DPS of an R+1 DPS class, the player is horrible and probably afk.

Sidenote: I'd like to see a parse of a full Titan where a MRD pulls 400 DPS. Thanks.

MRD burst is pretty high, sustained is decent, but the main limiting factor is Emnity on some of the harder hitting abilities. Overall Pure dps classes will still beat out a MRD.

I would kill for a working combat log and something like WorldofLogs/StateOfDPS here. Would end so many threads so quickly...

The only way MRD is doing more than a DRG with that kinda gear is if the DRG is really bad. Certainly wouldn't do more than a monk, black mage or summoner.

While we're wishing for stuff, I'll take a working combat log, and WoW's addon API. That would solve almost every problem I have with the game. =D
