tried it but no change
It's really weird.
I know these will sound strange but you may never know.
Is your PS3 clock showing the correct time? (the game may be doing a check or something)
If not, did you try setting the system language to english? (some games have/had some bugs based on system language)
I assume the locally stored config data is corrupted. The solution is to manually delete the file.
In the XMB go to game
> Saved Data Utility (PS3™)
>> Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
>>>Delete the file(s) associated with your character (if it properly appears).
Now startup the FFXIV Launcher and login.
Is it fixed?
if i do that in the best case scenario it will obviously say the same thing when i log in. tho after i reset everything ( hotbars, gear sets hud display exc. ) n log out it should save it n i wont have the problem. Tho i know my characters on the server but im a little paranoid. do i just delete the config data file? since my character is on the server nothing i delete on my ps3 should change anything right? (lvl or character)
WOOOHOOO!!!! it worked. i deleted the file with my character name on it, logged in, set a few gear sets n logged out. when i logged back in there was no config message n my character had everything i set. to think it was so simple lol. tho usually when a file becomes corrupt the picture changes to grey n says its corrupt. But you solved it and i cant thank u all enough. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR STICKING WITH ME and HELPING ME FIGURE THIS OUT!!!! :D I hope this thread helps anyone else who is experiencing this problem
