Should we be paying if we aren't able to play when we want?

I vote they just leave everything broken and never have maintenance! Yeah!

"That other game" has maintenance every single week, sometimes for a good part of the day. Sometimes just rolling restarts, but generally a few hours at best.

Wow has their maintenance same day, same time, every week. Even if there's nothing to do, they rarely ever skip a week.

However, sometimes updates go awry and I remember one day the servers were down all day long and one of the fan forums for it got a massive thread going about a class-action lawsuit because of a long maintenance.

To pay or not to pay is completely your choice and we cannot make that choice for you.

If Maint is bad time for you , then you do not understand the difference between JP servers or EU/NA servers .

This week free Server Transfers are coming , pick a with Servers best suit your time .
If not , well do not pay and go play a game with the times better for you .

SE like everything else , cannot please everyone .

So much so. If they could even convince a lawyer to take the case and actually manage to get it to court (highly, highly unlikely) they should film it because I'd love to see the hilarity. I say this every tuesday when these threads pop up on the WoW forums (you'd think people would have learned after ~9 years but, they haven't).
