We desperately need open world content, which I honestly don't consider FATEs at this point. Just ugh.
The problem is they want to heavily instance everything and want the open world to be 'safe'. Plus with the Duty Finder, all future content will lean towards being compatible with it, meaning open world stuff will have a low priority
I'm waiting for 2.2 to see if they have any plans to change their overall structure and if it's nothing but more tiered raids that I'm out

Game massively needs open world content, open access dungeons and HNM's too many people complained about HNM's and they were removed which tbh really sucks once you hit end game currently there is no need to venture into the open world your limited to instances. This would give players something new to do tbh i dont care whether HNM's are times spawned or poped like 11 if done correctly it coudl work really well, give us a reason to be out in the open world SE it looks fantastic but sadly there sint a reason to be there yet. It would also be cool if HNM's dropped items/mats needed for high end crafting or new relic counterparts simmilar to 11's Empyrean gear.

Oh my gosh! YES! I really detest how there aren't much of any caves/dungeons in this game that aren't instanced, and even then they are minuscule. More stuff to explore and not having to setup Light/Full Parties just to see would be nice.
Yeah I think ideas like these are great and needed if this game is going to make me stay, especially when new competitors arise.
I recall that we got an official response long ago regarding hidden treasures and other reasons to explore and they mentioned the FATE system. All I can say is I hope that was a misunderstanding because first of all FATEs give us nothing at level 50 and they are the most boring thing I've done in a game in a long time. Not to mention they are the very definition of not hidden, not challenging and definitely not a reason to explore and this would all still apply even if they gave me gil and decent items at 50.
I welcome anything that makes this world more alive, I want to see more caves. underground dungeons that is open to others and many more.
Add swimming and underwater content aswell + mini games.

Finally ppl demand this, now we have about 20+ instanced content (counting HM and coil) and 0 open dungeons, why SE has to follow WoW structure (for money obvsly).
We need the same content for open world than instanced, for that treasure logs dont be an extra with a NM and a random chest over one place, should be more organizated parties to stay during hours farming rare items with a low chance drop for craft ilvl100+ gear with materia slot (convert useful the craft jobs), casuasl could to obtain the same through instances but w/o materia slot
This open dungeons will force players to find a group through a partymatching in social option creating rooms and selecting another u want to join instead of DF because seems to be it's only works under instanced zones. In this open hunt zones or open dungeons we demand enough elite mobs ,chests and NM minions ( extended zones) for a several parties could stay w/o problem because in this game u cant fight for the spot.
i guess to have open world stuff the game would need to be open world, which it isnt! so how do we get open world dungeons and raids in a game that has no open world anywhere?
