I think it's clear he's grossly exaggerating the amount of gil he's making per day. He probably tells people he has a 12 in his pocket too. Regardless, this is an issue that is going to sooner or later cripple the duty finder system.

Duty finder is a great idea with a huge flaw. Being able to get a party without having to shout, or seek, and hope people are even looking for your job, and get cross server parties is great. The problem is it leaves people wide open to do any form of dbaggery they wish, with no social consequences. Penalty timers don't work for obvious reasons. Party kick functions would be just as open to trolling as the current system. The devs are going to have to come up with something novel to fix the problems.

Until then we'll have to either make/join parties and avoid the duty finder, or understand that rolling that duty finder is like rolling the dice.

And this is why I want a blacklist function for people in Duty Finder.

He's using the role of "tank" to get instant queue times. Waiting for everyone's cut scene to end so he can move and then sprinting off and dragging the entire instance with him and not stopping til hes dead. While looting chests.

The second time I was with him he did the exact same thing. It wasn't someone trying to "learn" how to tank. He only started talking when it was apparent that we weren't leaving AND we were going to report him. That's when he told us that he was doing it all for the chest drops to sell on the market.

It's pretty obvious he knew he was using the queue system and the people in it to abuse the system since he's said that 100s of people of sent in tickets against him.

The group abandonment debuff is what you get from leaving your queue instance group early. To make people want to stick it out instead of just dropping and getting a better group.

This is a flaw in design and it all points to the system not being able to discern whether or not a person in his/her own right can exploit this measure to be used maliciously. It's another way SE can dictate how we should play our game using "systems" instead leaving it vulnerable for opportunist: Leaving others to bare the burden and unfortunate disturbance in "the force".

I can't believe this issue went pass the testing phase and if anyone caught this because it ruins other players fun-time. We should just have dungeons left open because people are going to play the way they want anyway. For the sake of the story-mode, dungeons should be instanced until they're cleared in story mode.

For every resolve there's always going to be new problems and that's way I support open dungeons to a limit.

Instanced dungeons have their rules and are regulated but the system is too convoluted. Take away the timed penalty and it's about time the DEVs add the old fashion "KICK" function.
