But its a purple aether gate, making it more special than your average everyday aether gate, I do actually wonder about this gate though.

Would you guys stop being so unappreciative? I know that's pretty much the culture now in FFXIV, but when someone puts some effort into something to provide you with something to do, how about you just say thanks rather than "MOAR!"?

Then again, that's all people seem to do on here now.

There's so much stuff in this game that's closed off right now. I know of a few others you missed.

There is a closed off zone at 39,44 near Silent Arbor in the Shroud.
There is a closed off zone at 17,10 near Wyrmking's Perch in Coerthas.
There is a closed off zone somewhere near 43,46 north of the Red Labyrinth in Thanalan. I don't know the exact co-ordinate I just know there's an underground NPC like the ones near Halatali.

Unfortunately we won't see a lot of these areas for years due to the ranks of the mobs outside them. They're just placeholders for future expansions I'd say.

Oh boy can't wait to see all the secret mole caves I missed out on.
