Do you keyboard turn?

No I dont, cause I play with a gamepad on PC ;)

I always try to when on a mount. It makes the movement look so much more fluid. Or when running in circles just for fun. But when trying to move ouf of a red zone during combat, I usually backpedal.

I play this game like I have FPS games since the late 90's.

WASD for movement. Mouse for looking.

Only exception was FFXI. Used a controller for the 7 or so years I played it because the mouse configuration was idiotic and clicking accuracy pathetic.
