Teamworking: healers

Why would you get hate over this thread? Nothing to hate in here :p

What I can tell you from a Tank PoV that a healer should look out for is...

1. IF you get aggro, which shouldn't happen but if you do, run TO the tank, not away. Having to chase the Healer to get back aggro is annoying and sometimes Provoke will only get him hate back for a second and then a Regen tick or whatever gets it back to the Healer. This shouldn't happen anyway if the Tank does his job, but yeah, there are bad players out there :p

2. Don't recast Regen on a Tank when the trash group is about to be done. A lot of times Tanks don't really look at their buff bar and check if they have Regen up when they pull the next trash group. One Regen tick will make all of the mobs run to the Healer at start and it's annoying as well. Tanks could avoid this by just clicking Regen off, but yeah...like I said usually most don't really check for Regen before they pull.

Stoneskin is your friend - There are so many fights where SS and Regen can keep up a tank with minimal effort. Also if you need to heal massive group damage Divine Seal + Medica II is incredibly effective. Especially on fights like Demon Wall in AK.

Well, I personally never use Regen, can always manage not to use it because gain of HP isn't worth the gain of aggro.
I just take control of the situation in order not to need it.
Divine Seal and Benediction are my ass-savers XD
When the party is really bad or the boss is really hard and everyone's dying, I put healing before not getting aggro and use Divine Seal + Medica II once + Medica spam, this is the best thing to do to save the fight.
Oxide, I see what you're saying, but Stoneskin becomes useless with strong bosses. Remember that SS take 266 MPs, just like Cure II, and get a little aggro. But if you use SS on the tank while fighting the first boss in Dzemael Darkhold, you will get something like a minute of peace XD I just sitted there and watched the fight, it's really awesome XDD

Yes, this is a big problem. I personally always run TO the tank, but people always run away and get killed.
I did this mistake lots of times before understanding not to run away, but now I understood.
