Yes, some people whine about mean people but only tell you half the story so you don't see the things they did that would legitimately tick anyone off, but trying to say being mean is some kind of excusable (and the only) way to teach is just silly.

This is the problem. The "factual advice" usually comes in the forms of namecalling and telling the person to leave queue. This doesn't teach players of lesser skill anything other than that player was a douche.

It's you who is wasting your time by using DF and have false expectation of other. Create your own FC and only admit people who meet your expectation. /story

Video games are the most serious of serious business. Blah blah something about sheeple and superior intellect blah blah... Reminds me of when I used to play some online fps and some guy raged and literally uttered the words, "It's not about having fun, it's about winning!"

Real talk: If you are getting mad at other people playing a video game with you, perhaps you should consider a single player game, or at the very least, just doing premades where you have more control over your player experience. At the end of the day, It's a video game which has no impact on your standing in real life. Chill out and have fun.
