well, you will need gil too as no one will afford farming tomes for crafting mats

if someone need gil over tomes you can ask for the crafting mat for 30k gil for example

but since im not rich atm i will consider doing it wen i have some millions

how do we know if certain stats materia is capped before we attach it?
i found it that buying materia for my gear is kind of a gambling
what's the sign if it'll be capped?

It's only marginally better if you meld it, and you can't get your main stat on most of the pieces as the caps are ridiculously low.

Personally I would say not worth it, especially for the extra cost.

People are also forgetting that CT will drop ilvl 80 gear which will make this crafting gear all but useless, at least we still have a couple of months to enjoys its overpriced glory.

To get money you can 1 => farm dungeons, buy then sell the crafts items that you get with tomestones, i selled 15 and managed to buy my vanya dress.
or 2 => get your craft to lvl 50, make ilvl 55 items, make somes AK for your tomestones, melds the 12 items, take the lvl 3 / 4 materias that are good for your class, sell/trade the others to buy what you need.
