Again maintenance during Aussie prime time

Maybe for you. But some people DO finish work earlier than that and would like to play. When one is in bed by 9pm that is half the evening gone already.

It might be during YOUR prime time but I think for most of us its fine. By the time dinner is done and the baby is asleep its 8pm. Bed by 9? What, are you 15?

so thats what 4 hours of maintenance at the START of your primetime. Why don't you go back and look at how many FOUR to EIGHT HOUR maintenance periods us Americans had to deal with DURING our prime time. And you say you have something to complain about? Go and look up the definition of primetime, unless you aussies have a different definition to primetime than the rest of the world.

Has the OP ever taken a look at a picture showing timezones?
Isn't SE placed in Japan with +9 GMT?
My last holiday told me that Australia is in nearly the same zone(s).

So do the japanese have the same problems like our aussie friend here?

Actually funnily enough there have been American Threads saying exactly the same thing, but Aussies are always shafted in all games so i'm not gonna hold my breath for changes, should be in American prime time in my opinion. their threads were funnier to read, especially when they start saying they are the center of the world etc...

It has been said many times over that service is done when the techs are in the office. That office happens to be based in Japan and those hours are when they deem it time to work on the servers.

This always goes out the window when someone needs to justify a self entitlement problem.

Hence why all the Silicon Valley/Bay Area MMO's were having their maintenance time during Aussie/Asian primetime hours.

LOL, not everyone works 9-5 cushy jobs. Work for some people starts at 6am. That means being up by 4.30am latest.
