Meditation needs to be different somehow. oGCD proc, or a super short GCD like ninjitsu-creators. Or both! Something like, on crit of a GL refresher, you reduce the GCD and recast time of Meditation to .5 seconds. That would be fun. Obviously this requires a cooldown to FC, but then we could actually use it in rotation. Or we could get a debuff that decreases FC damage each time we use it, so it's not that powerful all the time if we use it often. Seems like all our new stuff, from the design theory's standpoint, boils down to, "You're about to not be able to do anything, USE ALL YOUR NEW CRAP." I'd like to use my new crap more often and in more interesting ways than that.

What's the general DPS looking like? I got 1066 without any buffs(no pt/food etc) with a 180 wep, full 180 left side and mostly 170 right side(with one 180 ring)

Am I the only one that feels Forbidden Chakra harder to press after today's maintenance? I have to press it like 5-7 times to make it happen, and it's supposed to be a OGCD skill, but this way it lakes a lot of time for my next GCD D:

Sometimes I could swear I have pressed it, only to continue fighting and see it again a few seconds later. Could just be me making mistakes though.

Yes, actually. I was doing Bis Ex last night and noticed that I still had it ready after killing the chitin despite mashing it through my rotation. I just went to the dummy now and it's not activating OGCD until the GCD is a good 2/3 of the way done at least.
Something definitely feels different though if this is not the case for anyone else but me.

I've noticed that too. I hope SE fixes this. It already sucks that the chakra system is useless while in combat :\. Now it's a PITA to use at all.

I've just posted in the In-Game Bugs forum regarding this (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ating-properly). I encourage anyone else who is experiencing this and has the time to add onto my post. Looks like there's going to be an emergency hotfix maintenance since last night's patch has also broken DRK so hopefully a fix for this will be included too if it is accepted.

I'm glad others are having issues with this too (well not glad that the issue exists...just that I'm not alone). I thought I was just really off my game today.
