Understood. Deafness in my life in the hearing world so that's why I don't have any hearing friends in real life. I didn't even know who Haruhi was until I read Light Novels that explained exactly who I am since I was a student in college you see those hearing students? They didn't even try and talk to me or want to help me. That's why I am happy to be playing with ya'll in FFXI and FFXIV because it made me feel like I am in the hearing world. ~_~

I personally don't see what the problem is. lol

If she wants to roleplay, let her roleplay. It's not really hurting anyone. At least, I never had a problem with it.

I can understand why it's hurting anyone but Phe is correct it's not a roleplay in this thread. I was just trying to deal with problems and then someone against me again and again for no reasons. I shouldn't have posted the first two posts that caused them... ugh I don't even know what the hell is going on. -_-

I don't have a problem with you personally as much as I have a problem with you forcing your fandom into a place that's not even anime related. This is, above and all, a game forum, and many on here do not watch anime, much less know who Haruhi even is.

I know we all favor characters and think they apply to us in some way, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. This is a work of fiction; the characters are fiction.

As Gramul said, we'd much rather interact with the real you, not some persona that lives through a fictional, stereotypical anime character (because yes, she looks just like every other doe-eyed moe anime girl out there, I'm sorry)

I have no problems with "role play" either, except we fall into the same dilemna: nobody knows who "Haruhi" is without watching the show. So, to a lot of people on here, you're just spamming some cutesy anime girl for attention.

And I know how difficult it is for you to make "speaking" friends; while I'm not deaf, I have met deaf people and maintained friendships even without knowing ASL (or whatever the sign language equivalent is called in your country). True, most won't want to bother because of the "language barrier", but there are some that will ;3 Which reminds me, that was one of my New Year's Resolutions >.> to learn ASL

tl;dr : don't live behind the persona of an anime character. Embrace your quirks (God knows we all have them) and live your life as a badass >.>
