Willing to transfer? I don't have any obligations on Lamia. That being said I won't just go off and transfer on a whim. I'd have to get to know the other person a bit first and establish if they we are both truly willing to commit to whatever it is we end up getting into so as to not waste money on my end. Preferred Race: Hyur, Miq'ote, Au Ra. I'm still debating whether I'm willing to accept Roe females. No footballs one being the obvious size difference, 2 they look too much like children to me and it just comes off as... weird. I have nothing against them outside of that though.

Dislikes: To be honest I have too many to list here, they are reasonable dislikes though so.
Goals for the game: To just enjoy the game as much as any solo gamer can without tying him/herself to a guild or in this case an FC.

I have never really played as much of this game as maybe I could have or wished to but never really got into it. Needless to say with the release of Stormblood I've found myself enthralled with this game. I've missed out on so much of it and frankly I will probably miss out on alot in the long run. It would be great to find someone who has alot of similar interests as I do, even better if they played this game. I play MMO's mainly for the atmosphere without being direclty involved with the atmosphere. As someone who's MMO'ed for a very long time it was always fun thinking about meeting my significant other while gaming. I honestly dont want to redo my character to male for someone that may or may not even happen for me. If I DO find a great woman and this proves a stumbling block I will address it then. I wish to share an experience I had a long time ago back near 2004 when I was playing FF11. I had met a very nice lass back then and we played together alot. Turns out we liked alot of the same things so we both decided to risk it and ended up chatting outside of the game. We hit it off really well and eventually we got to talking on the phone. We were both very much interested in one another and things went really well but there was a problem. She lived on the other side of the US. At that time, I was 24 and she was about the same (It's been so damn log I honestly forget everything about it sadly) and things were great but eventually she wanted more, I was happy as a lark and I was all for it but she wanted to meet in person. I actually got terrified by this I wasn't very strong when it came to doing things out of the norm, so I unfortunately never met her in person. She was ok with this but I knew she was upset that we couldn't meet in person. Well things went along fine but eventually she met another guy in her hometown and she was torn between me whom she had a very close bond with and this new guy. Well needless to say I told her to go with the guy and eventually she married the guy, I fell waaay out of contact with her sadly and I hope she is still happy. I always wondered what could have bene if I had just taken that step to go meet her *sigh*. This was the first and ONLY time in my 20+ years of MMO gaming that I met a woman almost got serious. I know I put that info up earlier but I'm not sure I should even think about it other than something spontaneous that really won't lead to anything. It is my dream to meet another woman in a MMO like this but I know as well as anyone, if not more in these cases, that it's very rare. I count myself lucky I had managed to meet someone as awesome as that one girl in FF 11.

I don't want to take up too much room, but I found my boyfriend on this thread and we've just celebrated our 8 months three days ago. At first, I was amused that such a thread existed, so I snooped around. His post got my attention because (I'm not that vain I promise!) his character looked good in the photo. I lost a bit of sleep deciding whether I should PM him first or not (especially because someone replied to him first! +it seemed silly), but ultimately I did, only to be hit with "player is not online" :(. I didn't give up though! I went ahead and replied to him on this thread and everything kinda worked out!! We've been talking about meeting up soon when I go to Europe and more than likely, it's going to happen. It was hard at times considering different time zones, he's Swedish and I'm American, but it was all worth it.

Finally, as a bit of advice, please please please don't ever be too shy. Whether it works out or not, it's better to give yourself a slight chance than no chance at all. Make the first move! Thank you for reading this and good luck ♥

You know, I have read a considerable number of posts in this thread and while I understand alot of different opinions float about, I'm going to add my $0.02 to this. You can take it, leave it, ignore it, or straight up don't even read it :P. Ever since I was younger and started playing MMO's back in 1996, UO was the best X-D, I have always loved the idea of finding a mate through video games. I know this is a pipedream at best because of the rarity for finding someone. For the LONGEST time I pushed it out of my head and faced reality that i'd be better off looking elsewhere for companionship. I have to say though, seeing this thread (and frankly I have never read the forums in since I created my account back in 2013) gave me hope and I can't ignore that. I know I may be naive and that little glimmer of what I wished back 20 some years ago flashed its ugly head in my mind. But I can't deny there is a possibility to find someone. I want to cling on to that little bit of hope for even just a little while. I'm horribly lonely and frankly I don't want to really get into it for obvious reasons, but again that glimmer of hope has me excited that I may very well find someone. of course I'm not stupid enough to get ahead of myself. I'm going to post every once in a while and see if anything happens. I mean the worst that will happen is no one will message me and I will continue playing as I have for many years now.

Dislikes: telling apart ツシソン on a time limit, when my cat dumps out water that i forget to finish drinking, and how jarring it is having so many buttons again after i leave pvp matches

Goals for the game: when i've had some more practice i'd love to get into the challenging endgame raid stuff - for now i find everything pretty fun, and i'm just focusing on progressing through the content. and ofc, glamour is the true endgame!!

Goals for the marriage union: lots of cute screenshots and glamours, it'd be really nice to have someone to help teach me the ropes for either just clearing things and getting comfy with them, or more serious rotations and strategies for stuff! if not that though, just having somone to talk to and goof off or rp with is more than enough for me to be happy (sun)
