Viera is a much different beast to tackle as it involves primarily only the feet and maybe the helms for bun ears, but compared to the aforementioned races, they look the most human like the other main races. Also, there is A LOT of evidence that they are working on them and even more teasers. With the bunny outfits being figured for men, the new Raid being a Moon Bun, the greaves I linked, and now Viera being added as canon in the FFXIV lore, I would honestly be surprised if they weren't added at this point.Quote:

As far as I remember, Viera is a female only race and the FFXIV staff don't want a mono-gender race.
It could have change since this declaration but I wont put a copper on the table for the viera to become playable not mentioning living outside of their forest is a big no for them at least in my lore memories from FFXII. -
