Subscription deadline is coming up and the question is: will you subscribe?

I already subbed for 6 months. Why? Because to me, the game is fun to play. I enjoy the world, the music, running around and seeing the sights, talking to NPCs for the flavor text they offer, exploring. I've seen hundreds of people bitching about the battle system, but I think it's fun to mess with. These are the things that are fun to me, not rushing as fast as I can to endgame and grinding away like a madman for hours a day to little end (which, by the way, is not much different FROM EVERY OTHER MMO IN FRIGGEN EXISTENCE GENIUS). I have a brand new world to explore full of brand new things to do, things to kill, people to talk to, NPCs to mess with and so on. I figure six months will be enough to see all there is to see in my own time at my own pace. If more content gets added, sure, I'll sub for some more time. If I'm bored with what there is at the end of that time, I'll move on to something else. To me, endgame isn't everything there is to a game, and it makes me a little sad that there are people out there that care about nothing but. It's just something to work on when I feel like it whilst having fun exploring and making new friends. I do have a level 50 class, this is true, but only because I wanted to finish the story. I have darklight gear too, a few pieces, because I leveled 45-50 in dungeons because they're a lot more fun than fates, even if they are slower. I'm not in a huge hurry to get more either, because I have other things to do, and other places to explore.

I will be subbing. I haven't had a whole lot of time to play the game so I've been taking it slow, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Since I am Legacy, my free play ended on Sept. 16th. Which resulted in me subscribing that same day when I couldnt log in ;)

Not that all or even most of us are 'gogogo' spammers, as you imply anyone that basically isn't happy with the endgame to be. So, tell SE not to make the same game that's been made too many annoyingly boring times before instead of acting like ARR would be better off without all of we dissatisfied sorts.

Reference 1.0 for why. And hope SE is smarter than you, as I doubt they'll rebuild it again if ARR leaves another faceprint on the floor of the internet. They didn't listen to any criticism before. Some of us with criticism in 1.0's closed beta got straight up told we were stupid and didn't understand the vision when we were predicting the future that came like clockwork.

Its people like you that are worthless for an mmo. Do you think SE will take note of your devotion and reward you? Do you think it makes you part of a 'mature' crowd that thinks they're a notch above 'the people that do nothing but complain'?

Newsflash: we're the people that often want the game to succeed so much it makes us angry when we have to watch stupids implode what could have been a great thing. And a good many of us won't sit here and waste our time or our money watching yet another TORTanic set sail for the same effing iceberg they all seem to race to crash against.

You can be smug on nearly empty severs in six months, confident that you had whatever position it is you think you have, but here's the sad reality; you cause no ripples, instigate no improvement, demand no greater, better effort on their part.

You think its fine as it is maybe? Ok. A good many of us don't. Don't tell us to essentially hurry up and leave, or w will.

i will subscribe ... im not even at the end game cause im taking my time to play .. i dont like rushing there is alot of todo in ARR if u got all crafter and gatherer class and all those DoM - DoW classes there is alot of todo, for me ; compared to other MMO's ARR have a tons of thing todo cause you dont have to start new char for another class and at the some point you have to level up another classes ..if i reach lvl50 at all classes (DoW-DoM, DoL-DoH) maybe then i got bored :D

Problems:-teleport boots that claim the mobs-teleport boots for mining-gill spamers.
-once u hit lv 50 with one job the game become empty for things to do with the next job u want to get to 50.Fates give 1 lv per hour making dungeons runs for xp usles.Need gear from time to time?use tokens from fates to buy from grand companies.No more quests for varaity to lv.
-Runing AK and CM all day waiting in que 40 min will get u bored in maximum 7 days.
And the big problem i have that i realy dont think they will fix it till my free times expire its the aoe delay letacy problem that will kill the game for many in HM primals and dungeons refering to this post http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...fix-something.

I live in aus as well and no complaints from me, btw your on a NA server so the lag issue is expected, try Tonberry a JAP server with english speakers on it and youll notice the difference

I've subbed and no regrets for me, and for all those whinging about Endgame and not planning to sub...can I have your stuff? No serz if your going to be like that then you can do a lil good and donate it to the ones who are going to be here still in a month. For those who complain about lag/latency issues....should've gone to a server closer you you....and for those complaining about long queues...have you considered running it with your FC? It so much more fun that way. And again to those who aren't staying...feel free to donate your items!
