Jump No Longer Necessary after Patch 1.17

Actually thinking about it the controller issue is kinda a mute point.

They could easily make it so you jump by Clicking and holding the button for Emotes and then make it so emotes only trigger if the click and release is short enough.

If you don't want to jump, just don't jump when they add it to the game

That would be nice. ^^ Still, I'm for compromise if SE is able to. Jumping automatically off ledges would be alright. Though they fixed the ledges issue already. I'm happy with things the way they are now. Much easier to get around.

On a random note, I think jumping up onto a ledge would be awkward and unrealistic looking. Kinda cartoony.
If I approached something at knee/waist height irl I'd climb or step up onto it. Jumping, I'd only be in for a scraped knee. lol

I wouldn't mind seeing hopping off ledges automatically, and climbing up onto them, but that's so much unnecessary work right now since things are fine.

oh dear, heaven forbid SE have to work. They don't get paid for nothing you know.

why they have to waste their time to help a little amount of people who don't want to see anyone jump? while they have a ton of issues waiting them?

Actually a lot of people don't want to see bunny hopping morons. I see it in every mmo that has it. In rift all people do is jump on their mounts in WoW same thing. EQ2 same thing LOTRO same thing. FF has never had a ''jump button'' Just the option to jump to another platform every so often. Get over the fact that right now with this fix there is no need for jump and there never will be. I don't want to hear how it can make endgame fun that is BS. But if that is the case how about the option to jump in only those end game instances that need it.
