My machine can definitely handle it.
Ry has a 4yo desktop that was built for FFXIV, he got just under a 6k max settings
I have a 4 yo laptop (Asus G73jh) and got a 2400 max settings.
We ran it on our toaster downstairs, on low settings and got a 2955.
