Wyuli was a mis-reading of my very first Magic: The Gathering card, Wyluli Wolf, but it stuck with me for many years and I'm quite fond of it. Though people are prone to butchering the pronounciation. (One person called me "Wally"...)
When I was younger, I played ff vi for the first time and came across a boss called Atma Weapon. It primarily used magic attacks and as strong as his attacks were for a low level party, still managed to beat him by draining his mp with rasp. I had liked the idea of magic before but afterwards was hooked. Being a caster, I can sympathize with this particular boss. Mp troubles usually spell the end for a mage class no matter how min maxed you might be. I took the name as a homage to that boss. Years later I found out that the word Atma is a disambiguation of Atman ( आत्मन् ) which means the soul or the true self in sanskrit. Kun is an honorific used to denote someone of jr status. Like a lalafell :D

Altamont Delage
Street name, no joke
I tried telling Baderon to just register me as "anonymous" at his inn. I'm not sure if it was my accent or the fact that I'm so short or what, but he's been introducing me as Mr. Anony Moose ever since...
Honestly, though, my first choice wasn't allowed by SE and I considered misspelling it just to buck the system, but the novelty wore off quickly...
Unable to find another name I rather liked, I just went with ol' Moosey here. 9 times out of 10, selling out your identity for a cheap joke is something you regret in later years, but I've grown rather fond of it, thankfully.
Tymora - Goddess of Luck in Forgotten Realms (D&D), in the hopes of better drops!
Estrellauta = Estrella (Spanish) + Uta (JP) = Starsong
My retainers are called Starsong and Moonsong to join in the fun :p
A very fun 19-page read so far :D but this thread needs more people from Excalibur! Where are you lazy Excalibres(?). . . . Excalibrians(??). . . . Excalibros(???) . . . . . . . . Excalibrarians(!?!?)

Lapu, I demand you make a separate Chocobo + Gobbue (yes I know we can't really name them) thread :3 Even though some posted they Chocos' names, it's easily skipped and not everyone remembers.
My character name Alicia (first name) came from Knight of the Lionsguard of FFT (minor character). Gratie is "Grace" in Dutch. Just so happen my wife's name is Alison. Close enough... LOL...
My character's name is based on two people. First name came from this person and the last name came from this person. I just liked the name combination and it fits my character so I stuck with it and also used the name on other MMOs that I play.
