If the vast majority of LATAM & Native people are expressing their disdain with this new set then there's a reason they're doing that. Designing a gearset after those who colonized and violated the peoples this expansion is inspired by is in extremely bad taste and not a good look. Just give us reskinned gear.

This entire line of reasoning is stupid outrage bait born of ignorance and a desire to start fights. I have Latino family members and none of them would think this is a conquistador's outfit if you showed it to them. The armor plating, silhouettes, helmets, and patterns look nothing like the armor of actual Spanish invaders.

Cyberaztec *would* kick ass, but coming to think about it, it wouldn't fit. Alexandria has a TON of European aesthetics though in their history, so I don't know why you're saying they don't--the Historia set is quite European, the old Alexandria looks like little European villages with electrope shot through them. Since these sets come from a dungeon that is on the Ninth (apparently, it's called the Meso Terminal and that is on the Ninth), that may be why the European aesthetic--they're more inspired by ancient Ninth Shard cultures than they are anything from Yok or Xak Tural.

And the Ninth did, kind of, colonize Xak Tural. That's part of the problem Yyasulani had when the dome popped up there. Suddenly they were taken over by a small part of the Ninth Shard in a mini-rejoining.
