oh i think housing wards are far better! but instanced would help quell abit of the uprising! i would ask for your discord if you use it, or ingame name so i could befriend you! <3 I enjoy speaking with you!

As much as I'm in favor of an improved instanced housing system, SE has not said anything to indicate they're interested in creating one.

On the other hand, we have Island Sanctuary. That could be a sort of beta test phase for an instanced housing system similar to how Squadrons seem to have been a beta test phase for Duty Supprt/Trust. They've even told us they're working on adding the ability for players to use outdoor furnishings in our Sanctuaries.

Back at the 2019 EU FanFest, YoshiP used a question about the balcony door in mansions to mention a technology they were working on that would allow a simulation of activity within a housing ward to be seen from inside the instanced interior. It made no sense for them to devote resources to such a system if it was going to only benefit mansion owners. It would make sense if they wanted as part of a better instanced housing system. Nothing has been said about it since as far as I know but then they're usually very closemouthed about what they're developing.

If there will be some sort of major addition/change to housing in 7.0, it would be mentioned during the upcoming FanFests.

SO! what is something people are looking forward to? In terms of FFXIV?

They should just limit the amount of entrants from one FC to... one. Would immediately fix the problem of snatching FCs who bid with all their members and ultimately claim the plot.

How come this is rocket science for devs I have no idea.
