yeah but you gotta be either lucky or somehow predict when a healer is going to Rescue you for Surecast/Arms Length to work on Rescue. Everything else we can see coming and is usually telegraphed...Rescue however is as random as its healer.

glamour restrictions except AF gear - it's an old system and needs to go
Would loooove for the song in Ultima Thule to be removed. I loathe the constant singing.
I'd like to see dungeon trash mobs removed. Clearly no one likes them, given that they rush through instances as fast as their sprint and/or peleton will allow. Either get rid of them entirely or just have one big pack in front of each boss so that we don't have to endure the frustration of sprinting through most of the instance while still in combat. It's especially frustrating when a mob starts to do a long cast and suddenly fixates on a healer or a ranged DPS because the tank is no longer pulling any kind of aggro on it. It's not like it even drops XP or gold anymore.
I mean, you can disable the background music already. I'm pretty sure it's the BGM (Background Music) option in the sound settings in the system configuration. There's a screenshot right here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/game_manual/config/
Oh rest assured, I usually turn off the music if I'm there for any length of time (/bgm 0 is nice and easy). With that said, I enjoy having background music while playing, but I feel like it was a bad decision to pick a song with full-blown lyrics to play on repeat in a zone. IMO, it should have played while the MSQ was still active, and then swapped to an instrumental version once completed.

It's unlikely they'll include that among the absorbed plugin features, as they'd want to retain that art direction for each zone rather than leaving it to players to decide what music they want to put where.
The simpler fix for them is for the music to either just return to v2 (not muted, but no vocals) after completing the MSQ, rotate through all three versions (the last being the vocal version) after completing MSQ, or make the versions zone-specific (with v3 playing only in the parts after you'd have left behind where v2 played).
