Destroying Server Economies

The only thing that might help is having a data center's crafters collectively go around reporting the obvious bot farmers because SE would have to be totally stupid to not think something is up for these players be getting mass reported.

People do actually get banned for DoL/H botting (As I've seen complaints on the forums associated with said programs), it's just a question of what triggers SE to act on it because not even the botters themselves seem able to pin down a pattern.

True, but then again we've had botting issues for years now, and the market is yet to crash. I am against bots in principle, but if the next best option is overpriced stuff (by a large margine), I won't stand on that principle. Now it's another question if the cross-shard travel feature will push the botting issue over the edge, but slippery slope arguments and over-exaggerating the issue wont help much.

Botting is an issue that has to be dealt with, but the cross-server market merge (for the moment at least) is a net positive for the majority of people.

I know hasn't stopped my items listed from being sold. Pretty sure there selling faster now since world visit started up.

I feel like doing a full sweep of the data center just for the sake of determining how good/bad each server's situation with the bots is.

I have noticed that they seem reluctant to get settled into crafting gear if there's too much competition from legitimate players, as the ones on my server only really made their move after the number of legit sellers went down. I'm not seeing any obvious activity from them on Gilgamesh where there's a huge amount of people crafting gear.

Infusions on the other hand are very prone to being dominated by them simply because how ridiculously huge of a time investment producing those is compared to doing singular crafts for gear. SE could potentially cut back on the abuse here by simply making them craftable in larger quantities so legit players can keep up with the demand.

Omnicrafters exist on all servers and all have had to go through the same process to gear and meld. Other server omnicrafters don't need Diabolos prices to make it worthwhile, neither does anyone on Diabolos.

Default sale price x 100 is my usual rule of thumb for deciding on a fair price, unless the market is way out from that.

Other than a few items, everything seems the same to me (idk about mats since I'm not a crafting master) but Light server seems to have decent buyers.

On the other hand, new players are seeing prices for basic gear and items go from exorbitant back down to something reasonable.
