Jumping confirmed

I really wish people would stop with the "FF feel" thing. XI was an old MMO. Come on people, they gotta move on.

One is utterly useless and the other is useful.

jumping interaction i'm all for. need to vault over that fence no problem walk up to it and interact with it, need to scale that ledge no problem move up to it and interact with it.

i DO NOT want the dumb ass space bar jump, which serves no purpose but to piss more mature non Ritalin injected players to the breaking point.

How does someone jumping piss others off?

and I have never seen so many people nag, wanting a pointless feature to an MMORPG, the key thing to look at is does FFXIV "need" jump, and the answer is no, there for the decision should have been clear and easy.

You don't "need" anima and teleporting either but we all can't have our way.

Why add anything to the game, someone insecure might get offended by it and demand an option to turn it off/not implement it at all. Get over yourselves.

Guys. I want you all to take a step back. Take a breather. Now realize this is an almost 200 page topic about jumping.

Seriously, only in this forum do the smallest things get put under a microscope and proclaim it to be the downfall of the game.

Did you not get the hint that we will have zones and stuff? I don't see what the problem is. I could care less either way, it doesn't affect me the least bit if someone is spamming jump. I mean people spam /laugh all the time, you don't see me b****ing about that on the forums.
