The races each offer something for everyone
Highlanders have the tall/muscular and tough appearance
midlander are your neutral type since they look like your standard humans
Lalafels are cute
Roe's are very tall and burly and hulk like. can be a gentle/goofy giant or very intimidating
Miqo'te still looks human with close to a midlander built, but have a tail/ear and slited eyes without being too beastial
Aura are slightly more beastial in appearance compared to the others

It seems to me that Squeenix wanted everyone to pick Miqo'te. Point the finger at them not us.

1) All of the races are humans so your first point is invalid. You have humans, humans with cat ears and tails, short humans, tall skinny humans, tall muscular humans.
2) Any race being ugly is purely subjective
3) Only an idiot would equate playing a lalafel with being a pedophile. What's wrong with you?
4) Yeah, cats are a popular pet. That doesn't mean people want to be one. Well, except for furries. Are you a furry? Looking good, just like looking ugly, is purely subjective. I find female miqotes to look like anorexic 16 year old girls and male miqotes just look bad. I mean, they look like they just got shocked by a giant stick being shoved up their butt bad. What's with that stance?!?

While I do wish there was more diversity, I don't have a problem with people who play miqote in general. I DO have a problem with people who get a superiority complex and think miqote are the sexiest race in game. (Seriously, I don't see it.)
