I wouldn't expect that to be likely in the core game itself. The whole reason games separate inventory into smaller amounts characters can carry around and then larger amounts they can only access in specific locations or under specific circumstances is to reduce the memory load and database transaction load. However, once the game allows plugins (and I believe they're planning to add support for those at some point), I'd expect this to be among the first ones to be made.
