yet the last part was only luck, as he can't confirm that the pears, apples and berries he gave after getting the pineapple message were useful or not

I just got snow white today, doing 3 feeding sessions.

Desert Yellow -> Cream Yellow = 1 Plum
Cream Yellow -> Sylph Green = 1 Plum
Sylph Green -> Snow White = 7 Plums (on the seventh is when i got "growing new feathers" msg)

Just out of curiosity, if i wanted to, how would i go from Snow White to Charcoal Grey

I got lavender purple.. not lavender blue.. is the spreadsheet incorrect or did i make a new color?

I got there a very different way, but decreasing all colors equally (with equal feather procs?) will get you there eventually. Plums, Valfruit, Pineapple. Charcoal Gray has RGB values in the 70's, so just keep going until you get there. I used photoshop's rgb sliders to know what to tweak.

I noticed this oddity too. One of my FC people has "Lavender Purple" but if you look through all the dyes in the game, it doesn't exist, only a "Lavender Blue". I assume these are the same colors though.

I got lavender purple.. i think i made a new colo,, lol

Any tips on how to go from Dalamud Red to Soot black? or at least close to it.

From Midnight Blue to Loam Brown,I've manage to control the Numbers in proper order,the rest is deepen them all to soot black but i think i might need to hit Kobold Brown first .. Anyway i fed him with 3 berry 2 pear 1 apple.this method should lower green to get closer to blue but won't less than blue as same as red that won't lower than green.if my theory is right,i will get Kobold Brown or Soot Black.
