Not being able to fix lower version of a buff overwriting higher version of a buff is pretty pathetic if you ask me, and it has nothing to do with the game being MMO, so in that aspect, the engine clearly fails.

This one is about being able to use higher level/rank item if you want if you don't have the lower level/rank item.

This is for dark matter too but would be nice if the higher catalyst can be compatible (used over the lower catalyst/dark matter, say G5 dark matter can be used if you didn’t have any G3 or G4 dark matter)

Merit I can think of from this.
There wont be situations where lower rank item’s price inflated more than the higher level ones. (Level 1-30 catalyst costing more than level 41~ catalyst)
For those that can afford it will spend some more but will have a catalyst that can be used for current 3 types.
(Since you can just use the higher level catalyst for the lower level materia attachment)

For Crafter class viewing from level up stance they added lv51+ recipes,
However for gatherer the current highest is grade 5.
Once you go over 40 it becomes extreme on the EXP gain.

For gatherer we are also looking into adding grade 6 gathering points to make it easier to grow after level 40.

ただし、現時点でグレード6の採集ポイントを追加しても、グレードに見合った素材が存在しないため、
新しい素材の追加もセットで実装を行う予定です。
However, at current point even if we add grade 6 gathering point, there isn’t any material that meets the grade so we’re planning to add new materials as a set also.

実装時期については決まり次第お知らせいたします。
For release date once confirmed will let you know.

Glad to hear about the grade 6 nodes, it would be nice if they could readjust the scanning skills also by the time you hit lv 32 you really need to head for grade 5 nodes to make decent XP, sadly you don't get that skill until 38 :(

Gatherers really do need to be looked at after 1.20/1.21

Our current grade 6 node is Ifrit.
