First time running Titan HM. I'm a scholar.

First Landslide targets me, I dodged it but the game said otherwise. We Wipe. I feel like absolute crap.

Try #2 same group.
I end up eating a set of plumes & die pretty early on. My poor partner resses me and I end up eating another set of plumes soon after. I get yet another res & by then I'm just beating myself up, 1000% sure that I'm a bad healer and I need to uninstall. I do well enough until I get targeted by a landslide. Guess who learned to fly? Not me! The other healer ended up solo healing the rest and we finish. Thankfully my group was nice about it. I was just having a really bad day in-game.

Fortunately on my second run ever I carried the group and more than redeemed myself. Unfortunately I got a partner like me in my first run and my dps weren't good enough to dodge enough hits for us to make it. I tried my best but it wasn't enough.

So did a roulette as WHM, got titan hard. I don't expect much from those groups really. I only want at least 1-2 DPS alive and I can soloheal np. But then this BLM said "rez pls" after dying 2 times in a row (Mind I'm solohealing because the other healer got landslided) and it somehow made me really mad, I mean I'm solohealing and low on MP, want me to rez and have no MP left for healz in general, he'd die again anyway I can't carry him and his low HP through these stomps. Those BLM's don't even think about ward to increase their chance of surviving. I just couldn't resist but to say unappropiate things and then I died to plumes. God I felt so bad.

next run I saw that my SCH partner was OOM before the third phase. He then died of course to a landslide. Same BLM also died again.
Though we did it in a group of 4 people this time.

I queued for a High Level Roulette this morning to so I could get the last 50 myth I needed to buy a mat. I ended up getting Haukke Manor HM and I thought nothing of it until I saw our DPS were using i47 weapons with a bunch of i38-50 gear around it. I'm an i101 White Mage with i110 Yagrush weapon so, in dungeons play the class like a BLM that can keep a group alive. DPS consisted of a Monk and Bard so I knew from the start this wasn't going to be your typical 15 minute run through Haukke Manor.

Lo and behold, the tank was doing entire floor pulls from the 2nd boss onward despite the fact that DPS was really lightly geared and lacking huge AoE burst. I helped out dps by using Holy on the large pulls to speed things up/stun and I even apologized when I let the tank get to around 200HP before using Benediction (just out of courtesy, so he knew I'm still healing him). He didn't say anything afterwards so I figured he didn't mind so much considering our monk died to AoE early on in that huge trash pull. Our monk dies again on the 2nd boss and I don't raise him we beat it since I was busy handling adds and heavy's debuffs on the tank and dps that kept getting caught in the blue floor AoE. Monk apologized for the deaths and I told him "no worries, that fight is annoying as a melee." He agreed and we moved on to the final trash pulls before the end boss.

Tank decides to pull the entire floor again and so I do a mixture of Holy and healing like I usually do on huge pulls since I'm not the type of WHM stand around and ONLY heal for an entire dungeon. The tank ended up dying when we had 5 mobs left with 10% HP on each of them. He then proceeded to rage at me for letting him die when he shared just as much blame in that whole situation. He called me the "worst healer ever" over one simple little death that didn't cause a group wipe.

I ended up having to apologize to the two DPS that obviously needed this dungeon because I refused to continue on having to deal with that tank totally treating me like junk when I was doing everything in my power to make the run fast, smooth and fun. I made one simple mistake and get all that flak, it just wasn't worth me completing at that point. I AFK'd and waited until the abandon duty (If the DPS in that group see this, I'm really sorry). Tanks like that are the cause of why so many healers are quitting the role and rerolling as DPS instead.

Healer walks into an aoe-several aoes. (Literally ran into one aoe, got hit, ran into another, got hit, ran into another...). Healer died.

I'm almost out of MP myself and the tank is near dead. Quickly, switch to buff/debuff mode and eye for an eye the tank, virus the enemy, swiftcast blizzard 3, start using physick. Boss happens to have aoe hits. (Stone Vigil?)

So for the rest of the fight, I'm healing the party as a BLM, using swift blizzard 3 to keep my MP up.

After a long battle, we win, barely.

T1: Party decides to sac. The other SCH has their pet out and it heals. Party ends up getting attacked because healer went splat. Rest of the party dies because healer was next to them. The tank I'm assigned to moves to avoid the mobs (since he was already on the golem). I see this and calculate the numbers and move to right next to the golem (literally on the edge of death). Mobs barely pass me, golem's cone aoe whiffs me. I'm now duo'ing the golem with the tank with no fairy. So for about 3 minutes, I'm healing the tank, throwing out Sacred Soil, Lustrate, Energy Drain, and plenty of physick and Adlo. Wait for my swiftcast to recover from the initial healing and then swiftcast summon. Quickly rouse to buy some time. I'm already on my last threads of MP. I have no charges and it'll be a while for my aetherflow. So literally I'm barely hanging on the entire fight.

After we beat it, I noticed that the party never realized we were gone nor that I was casting skills, losing hp, healing, etc. (Aka: in combat).

11 stomps in Titan HM post-heart, yes 11. Everyone died multiple times except myself the tank and the other whm, which was a huge drain on mp due to raises as well as having to dps. We still won, but I doubt I would have been able to do it without the other whm.

Jumped into a Breyfox HM the other day was hoping for a speed run but I aint really that bothered I am kinda go with the flow kinda guy so I loaded in and checked out everyone as one guy took a while to load up. the 2 dps were prob around 68 Ilvl so I thought hey no spped run oh well I then look at my warrior tank wow fresh 50 could not of been much over 55 ilvl and only had 4.5k health(about 500 more than me) so I thought this will be relaxing at least.

We all know what Mr tank did next........ Attempted a speed run pull not only could he not eat the damage he couldnt keep hate. When I say nicely after the wipe please dont pull more than your gear can take. All i get is I have been doing this fine all day hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm are you sure?

Dam know your limits

Jumped into expert roulette with my WHM, got Brayflox (oh the joy). As soon as the barrier falls, tank and dragoon just run off without waiting for any buffs at all. Looks like it going to be one of those type of runs again..... Anyway, i let them know i would like to buff them, yet then tank just runs off and pulls first mob with dragoon. The bard, meanwhile is acting apprehensive and was unsure if they should run after suicidal paladin and dragoon, or wait with the one that keeps them alive. Meanwhile, paladin has pulled first mob, taken a paper-cut, so has decided the best way to deal with it is to spam cast cure on themselves, whilst the dragoon is doing what every good dragoon does and is stabbing a monster in the face with their pointy stick (tank, strangely enough has aggro on one mob). WHM to the rescue, and after dead mobs and a lovely exchange of pleasantries, we continue. Paladin hardly uses cool-downs at all for the entire dungeon!

Well things get better again, then go downhill fast before the last boss. Paladin shows us once again that they can not hold aggro, as they haven't managed to for the entire dungeon, and dragoon gets even more super special. Last pull before boss, things go fine until the giant white kitty ball of paralysing doom shows up in the last pull. It is ignored completely by tank so i have aggro, along with 50% of the other mobs. Everything is killed apart from the kitty of paralysing doom, door opened and dragoon runs off to boss room, we follow after some confusion, mob still on me. Dragoon goes to pull boss before i am even at boss gate, tank stood outside with bard. I get paralysed, trying to esuna it off me, bard and tank doing nothing about mob but also not engaging with boss. Dragoon dies. I get the usual "WTF healer" by dragoon in chat, and my response was "mob on me, dragoon should not try and tank boss". It was at this point i was told we were doing a speed run, which could have confused me seeing as it had taken 25-30 mins to get to last boss, without any of the usual speed run pulls. Anyway last boss was a mess, adds are not dealt with and alive at time of bomb spawning, bombs not dealt with properly at all. Dragoon making no attempt to move out of aoes, everyone getting 3000+ damage each bomb rotation due to them not being dealt with properly. By some miracle we have Ai Uchi moment and boss dies at same time as all of us! Cue the dragoon with their insults, the kind that make me want to pick him/her/it up and fling them head first into an education. "Healz u suk" "healz u r terrible". Etc etc. after an exchange of pleasantries, we all go our separate way, never to see one another again (fingers crossed)

TL;DR healers can not heal stupid, paladin learn to use cool-downs please.

Different sort of horror story. Got Titan HM via roulette yesterday and had a white mage that for some reason wouldn't raise people when they died, including the other healer. Even though there three bards for mana song if it was necessary. When the whm finally raised someone, it was a bard to do LB3 which the other healer can also do.

Garuda HM. I queued with my FC friend to get the last sold to cap. We ended up in a party which was probably fighting garuda hm as if she was ex-mode. Basically, we wiped once because the sisters spawned and OT couldn't aggroe them on time, so the second time me and my friend tried to adjust to this new fighting style. One sister went down, while Garuda and (maybe) Suparna managed to kill half of the party, other healer included.

She had 30%-40% of her HP, it was really too much to take her down with the BLM LB and I had to heal myself the only tank who had survived and 1 dps. MP where quite low, I thought I could ress the other WHM but then there would have been little I could do. The only think which made sense to me was casting the LVL3 LB hoping to revive everyone and catch up.

I did it and things looked good then, I was sure the fight was over but then people forgot to "kite" Garuda and we wiped when she had so few HP. I was called "idiot" several times for wasting our LB.

I think I was that Healer - And I did try to Raise you and the others (Using Swift Cast - Wouldn't want to slow rez people) - but I noticed LB3 building - the other bard was raised for more delicious Ballading (Although, I believe it was a mistake and I meant to raise you, the summoner, to raise others + Caster LB) - he used the LB - Pretty sure after LB3 went off, you all died again because you couldn't dodge anything... My horror story:
Dzemael Dark Hold - Worst Tank ever... He used LB before the boss fights and let me tank adds while sitting back with the Mages, throwing shields at the mobs like he was a ranged DD... Horrible.. So Horrrible. Managed to get to the last pull before final boss - but before the party was ready, he rushes down the path and aggros the three skeletons. He just stands there... getting beat to death - so we all watch him die - patrol resets (Doesn't attack any of us, yay!) We kick him and get a geared i80ish tank to finish the dungeon with us! :D!

As a dps:

Ran Dzemeal Darkhold while leveling my BLM. Already had my lvl45 BLM gear, Tank had something similar, other DPS (bard) was in full AF + Relic and the healer was equiped with Bloodcry (the Sunken Temple weapon) .... and broken crafting gear. You know, the frayed cotton vest/ greasy apron stuff that drops in the very dungeon we are currently in.


I noticed this at the start but decided to let it be for now. Few steps into the dungeon I see that his cures heal for only about 300hp (surprise surprise), so I asked him whether he was going to change into healer gear or not. I don't get any response. Tank doesn't seem to know where he is going either. A bit later we inevitably wipe, tank and bard die, all mobs on me so I run all the way back to the beginning to bring them to the tank. I meet the tank halfway, but he does nothing and runs back. When we reach the start he finally decides to attack the mobs, but the healer is derping somewhere in the back so we all die.

The Bard is pretty pissed, and notices the healer his gear for the first time. When we (in various levels of politeness) ask him to put on some decent gear, the only thing he replies is "wut I do?". I wasn't looking forward to doing an entire run like this, so I decide to initiate a vote kick. Healer gets kicked, but instead of waiting a bit on a new healer someone initiates a vote abandon and despite me klicking no we abandon the duty. maybe for the best. Back into the dps que I go.


As a WHM:
Trial Roulette put me in Ifrit HM. First part of the fight goes well, untill we reach the phase after the nail. Half of the party doesn't seem to know how to dodge the field wide eruptions and on top of that nothing gets stunned so despite my best efforts people start dropping left and right. This includes the other healer, but after raising him twice only to lose him to the next AoE attack I decided I'm better off trying to solo heal what is left of the party, which now consists of me and two tanks.

We have LB 3 so I use that after the field AoE, but 3 dps and the other healer soon drop dead again, leaving a bard as our single dps. I try to raise the SMN in the hope that he will raise others, but he dies soon after being revived due to not dodging. By this time my MP is running too low to raise others without risking going oom. In the chaos between dodging attacks I lose the offtank. Bard dies to an unlucky combination of AoEs. Shroud of Saints is up again by now so I use the extra MP to raise the Bard again. Lots of dodging later, and just before we get a second LB3, Ifrit dies to the main tank his continued efforts to hack away at his hp bit by bit.

I will be honest and say that I was slightly disappointed at getting only 1 recommendation.

Generally: Bad tanks

The real horror story was my first Titan run yesterday. Didn't know what to expect, so I told everyone I was expecting a few wipes due to me being new (heard he could be pretty overwhelming with all the AoE). So we wiped 3 times, everyone still being relaxed about it and offering me help and strategies. At run 4 the DPS' both go to 10% HP and I use the LB. Wouldn't be any problem, if it weren't for Titan using his dodge-able attack and knocking me off the platform.

Finally the run goes smoothly, everyone is dodging like crazy, I'm healing my best run ever and my controller decides to die on me.. FML

Eventually we killed him without any problems, but I couldn't shake the feeling of being a noob. Gotta give props to the other guys / gals though for sticking around and helping me with the tactics, etc.


I felt really caught offguard with the raise in difficulty, since I usually have no real trouble healing dungeons, it all goes real smooth and I get recomendations after almost every duty I enter. It definetly put me on top of my game and I kinda thank them for it :)

Over the weekend, I got on my Scholar and queued for the low leve roulette (healer bonus). Well, ended up getting Tam Tara for about the 7th day in a row (sick to death of that dungeon by now).

So, I was hoping for a quick run (though by no means expecting any sort of "speed run"). Well, the tank was obviously pretty new and had lower level gear. So, at first I helped out by just having Eos heal while I did some DPS.

Well, after a few minutes, the tank went AFK. We stood around waiting. He says "hold on." We stand around for probably a good 5 minutes. So, we decided to pull a pair of enemies while we wait. We easily kill the two enemies, Eos and I tanking them. Then he says "DAMMNIT I SAID HOLD ON." Then proceeds to tell us he is needing to get some hits off of his bong. Seriously?

So, the three of us refuse to wait for someone to do that, so we proceed through the dungeon, of which he was AFK for more than half of the rest of the time. We kick him before the last boss and get a tank that is super nice.

@ Byonko Nah, it was a different healer. I remember his name, which I didn't post because of ToS. Also, I was on bard (I was the one raised to do lb3) and we definitely didn't one shot it. We wiped probably four times, mostly because the second healer died and never got raised an any attempts, so the other healer had to solo heal and couldn't keep up with it.

I see, I see, very similar situations. <3

I got pulled into a Brayflox HM with I would think an i92+ BLM, i85+ MNK, and an i55~ish PLD. The PLD is lagging a lot but also attempts to make mass pulls. He started with the first pair of mobs, only flashed twice, then promptly tried to begin his enmity combos. This is exasperated by his lag as he has no way to actually hold hate against the BLM who's going nuke happy trigger finger. We make the second pull (third and fourth group leading up to just before the ramp) and wipe because the Coeurl is pulled as well and I can't keep the i55 PLD alive through the incoming damage after the BLM dies to massive spike damage. We managed to kill two I think before we wipe and reset, finish the mob off and keep going.

Lock out the mobs outside first boss, down first boss. I'm expecting the PLD to super pull the 9 Goblins in speed run fashion and was surprised when he only got the first trio. Thinking he learned to step it down a notch, he pulled the raptors / colibri off the side then double pulled the remaining goblin trios for an easy clear. Alright, things are looking better, though the BLM is constantly pulling hate so I focus my attention more on the squishier BLM versus the PLD. We do down 2nd boss with no issue.

Get to the third part of the run. Pulls everything to the first door, it's defeated quickly and we move on. Then for some reason he decides to pull the super Coeurl AND everything leading up to the second gate. Needless to say it was chaotic. BLM had hate on the majority of the mob and I was healing the BLM through it as much as I could. Sadly, the pull went smoother because I decided to have an "all-in" gambit and started to hammer the Holy button to help mitigate damage and down the mobs faster. Once it's down to the single Couerl and two Goblins, we burn the rest down without too much more issue.

Third boss dies without a hitch thanks to LB1 from MNK on the final before super bomb phase.

tldr: Under-geared and lagging tank tried to do SR-style pulls and was carried by the rest of the party through Brayflox HM.

I do understand the idea behind not raising people on that fight, though, now that you mention it. Between bombs, tumults, and WotL, people with weakness usually just die again. I just thought it was weird because it was the first time I had seen that strategy on Titan HM. But when I think about it, I did pretty much the same thing in a CT run. I was on whm and the other healer was a fresh 50 scholar with under 3k HP. He got through all of it fine until we got to Acheron, and then he just didn't have the HP for Acheron's unavoidable AoE. I raised him like twice before I just decided to solo heal the rest of it.

If you stay with it, you should commit to using nothing wireless. Nothing. No controllers, no mice, no keyboards... go to hardwired everything.

You'll read far too many similar stories on this board - and on most other game-related boards. "My controller crapped out just then..." or the mouse, or...

Horror story...

Garuda EX... stoneskin MT while has both sisters.... tank gets oneshot. Repeat... same... repeat same... OTHER healer confirms that SS is up at the time... shit still happens - couldn't heal them at all... they just died.

Epic wins:
Titan HM... ALL dds died. Other healer dies as well. Just me and tank left. Tank goes DPS mode at a few % of titan's hp. We down it.
AK Wall... first one DD gets repelled, then the other, then the tank... I solo the wall to the end from some 25%.

Not sure how to categorize this, but basically didn't heal once at toto rak because the summoner decided to heal and not dps. They didn't summon their pet for some reason either :/

maybe he made a mistake and originally wanted to queue as Scholar, then thought "damn this I heal anyways" xD

Lol I did tell them to focus on dps and that I can heal alone, and I was ignored. Initially I thought they just healed when worried but then realized they were healing even if tank lost 10 hp. I switched to cleric stance then and finished the run as dps xD

I have seen parties on the 2nd boss not pulling adds of me so I am dodging alot and they yell at me when they die. Tip for you tank s and dps. The less I heal myself the more I can heal you

I zoned into a Tam-Tara run where the tank was wearing all caster gear. I was much busier in that run than usual. :)

I'm a lvl32 WHM who wants to run Brayflox for EXP.

Some Dragoon wanted to finish ASAP and kept pulling mob after mob, completely ignoring my MP (and the simple fact that he's NOT a tank).

The tank, instead of being angry at the DPS, got angry at me for "not keeping up".
Problem is, it's not my job to heal reckless DPS.
Another problem is, the tank couldn't even "keep up" with it himself because due to massive heal output I was constantly drawing adds. OR he simply ignored them. You decide.

Both were lvl50 players scaled down, mind you.

So after they complained about me being too slow and them being in a hurry, I told them to lean back and chill while they wait for another healer, just before I left them.

Dealing with terrible players is NOT my job.
I can just leave and find a new, proper party in less than a minute.
There is no reason for me to tolerate their behavior.
So what makes these people think they can get away with it?
Because they don't. Not on my watch.

Most tanks I run with at Brayflox usually leave the adds on me. I just put a regen on myself.

Since I'm playing as DPS, I'm still trying to figure out what the "norm" is for that fight. Half the people say ignore the adds and half the people say, kill them quick. And yes I realize this is slightly off topic.

Honestly most healers should be fine with the adds on them. Just focus on the boss. ^^

My horror story is healing a Titan Ex where the these ranged people(blm/brd) were standing way in the back and were bitching to me about not healing them. I AM healing...you are just not in my radius c:

This was my Brayflox experience alllll over. Tank ran around the lake room and aggro'd everything in the room, but didn't flash or cycle targets or do anything to generate enmity. I cured ONCE because he was about to die after just the mobs' first volleys of attacks, and BAM. Instant death by trash for me. Then I get "WTF heals, I was going to lock them out." Except that he was in the middle of the room at like 1% health thanks to sprinting out of my healing range constantly and would have died LONG before ever reaching the mid-boss...

I didn't quit, but I was, let's say... somewhat forgetful in my healing for the rest of the dungeon.

I was just in Coil T4 with the worst group ever.

Right away, the dragoon said something akin to "healers, carry our FC". I saw that the other healer, a WHM, was someone I've run with before so I thought we would be fine. That makes six people who were in the same FC together plus two PUG healers (myself and other WHM).

First try: we made it to phase 3 before the dread and bugs and other guys smacked the other healer and then me to death. The FC people admit that some of them (including the tank) are first timers but it's ok because they got it.

Second try: Phase 4+5+6 adds accumulated and smacked the healer and then me to death.

Third try: Phase 4+5+6 adds accumulated, smacking other healer and myself around, and the tanks were going down so quickly, even a constant supply of cure 2's couldn't keep them up. Plus the DPS were also going down.

After the third try, these FC people said it was all our (us healers) fault when a lot of them were obviously new as they didn't know the positioning at all. Their DPS was so low that 3 phases piled up. Only one tank bothered to pull the adds off of us.

I told them to stop blaming us just because we weren't in their FC. Contrary to your belief, you all being in an FC together does not make you pro's. Then they started insulting the other WHM's abilities and his gear, accusing him of being ilvl70. (I don't think you can even get into T4 with i70?!) He was i86 and apparently, i86 is too low for T4 because they are all i100! Even though T4 drops are i90! And obviously, that i100 wasn't helping them since we had THREE phases overlap!

After some arguing back and forth, they kicked the other WHM and then (thank goodness) they kicked me too.

FC mentality: we're all in the same FC so we're all perfect pro players - it HAS to be the PUGger's faults!

I also have a horror story from Brayflox, as a level 32 SCH doing it to level up.

The first thing I notice is that the PLD tank has less HP than our DRG. We pulled the first set of mobs and I pull healing aggro and die. Same with the second pull. The tank used flash on the third pull so I managed to survive that. When the first boss came up, I was spam healing him just to keep him up. He was wearing a random mix of tank, DD, and caster gear.

Then my fairy pulled healing aggro and died. Later I have to spam heal the tank again, draw aggro, then the tank dies with a mob attacking me.

Eventually we manage to get to the final boss. The tank fails to dodge the dragon's breath and dies. After a few wipes he manages to avoid them, but has trouble keeping both himself and the dragon out of the poison puddles. After spending 30 minutes trying we manage to get the thing down, though not without me needing to resurrect the tank due to an AoE. This entire ordeal took about 70 minutes.

Brayflox NM to help out a friend on his atma book:

Tank was undergeared, we wiped several times and I kept on running out of mana healing him. That was made worse by a dps (lancer!) who was obviously not on job and therefore had low dps output.
Eventually tank & I we found a good pace and we worked together well with zero wipes. Lancer was ridiculously uncooperative. He wouldn't LB, attacked different targets from tank and did the exact opposite of what the party did (waking sleeping mobs, not getting people out of bubbles etc).
We wiped at final boss because I ran oom and had my xether on cd as he ignored our pleas to LB. When we asked if he knew how to lb or not he said "tank sux". We agreed to vote kick him and ironically enough we we joined by a proper dragoon and the battle ended fast.

I wonder how that would work out, cause you have to kill at least the one with the key, and locking out the whole other bunch.. i guess chances are about 0.6% that you manage to keep all out ^^...
And I see how Tanks Health drops with 2-3 Mobs in his back and the boss, so i am pretty sure this can´t be healed with the full first room....


However... it was not quite a "horror" story, but more a honorable mention... i did low roulette with my about 35 SCH and got Satasha with some I suppose new guys. At least the Tank was either a bot or had no idea.

I have to count on his side, he at least know that Flashlight exists... but that´s for that, no aggro management at all.

It then started at the first Mini-Boss encounter, while he couldn´t hold aggro, he just went for the Door and wanted to get through...
Short before the second Mini-Boss, he ran up to the next trash while we were still handling 3 Mobs... concerned more about my 2 DPS, sure the Tank died of not being near to us... waited,... and went offline...

We finished the Dungeon, slower than usual, but without any problems, got 2 Votes and big thx to my (IMO not good) healing skills ^^ i handed them forth to my superior fairy ^^...

SCH with Fairies in Low Levels are so OP... most of the time i forget im a healer at all ^^

As WHM I gather the adds close to the boss and take them down with Holy. Win-win.

It happens, my controller has died mid fight too and the team has wiped.

Anyone that gives you crap for 1 wipe is an ahole.
Even 3x wipes, if you are trying and polite, you don't take any crap from them. You've got a hard job and they are lucky to have you there trying to do it.
Evidenced by the fact that any mage can que for anything in about 3 seconds flat. Few want to do it, but everyone is ready to criticize at the drop of a hat.

After reading this I think I've been quite lucky with DF. I've had a few groups where people just run off or the tank thinks he's a dps which ends with me tanking most of the mobs but at least so far I've not had people shout abuse at me for not fixing their mistakes.

Probably my worst horror stories so far are Titan where due to lag i couldn't avoid the landslide. It looked like i was well out of aoe but I still got chucked off and then the other players said I was still in it. After that I was so nervous and just panicked. I was lucky to only get caught by the landslide at the very end, tanks also dies but dps manage to finish. Have been avoiding it ever since.
The other one was Cutters Cry. Me and one of the dps are new say so at the start and Tank and other fps are very patient and explaining the mechanics. We wipe a few times but it's all good. On the final boss I feel like am getting the hang of it and all is going smooth until the new dps gets the orb and runs straight at me am distracted as I'm casting cure on the tank, get hit by orb straight away the eyes glow violet and I don't make it in time to the safe area and bite the dust, felt like such a derp. Spend the rest of the fight apologising to the group.

Ah, lack of communication...

Was doing The Lost City of Amdapor where I had my first experience with a Tank who didn't bother to stagger their speedrunning strategy for the fetid fluid sections. She would just run right through them, taking damage and pulling three or more mobs at once. Nothing the party couldn't handle as a whole, but none of us apparently had seen a tank not kill the Gadflies out of the poison, and then press on. So, I had stopped, started aiding in DPS when suddenly we realized the Tank was nowhere to be found and dangerously low on HP. Thankfully I still had her highlighted and noticed she ran ahead and just barely got a Lustrate on her in time to keep her from dying.

Would have been fine from there except she had an utter flipout moment, saying I refused to heal her on purpose and the whole party was conspiring to kill her, etc... We just let her rant for a minute before we finished the dungeon. Was more funny, than terrifying though. :P
