Are they any plans to adjust the Mateira System? Like be able to use materia in unique gear, or make it more simpler by letting players socket their own materia?

Since in AAR a single piece of multi-materia melded gear will no longer have as great of an impact as they do now, will the success rate on multi-melds be raised?
Why You change the UI in 2.0 but gameplay is still the same like 1.0? Will materia system be revamped like FF7 or materia gear give off some effect?
Will there be any new large scale zones opening that we can explore with the release of 2.0?
Is there a huge sense of adventure when exploring the new zones?
In ARR the inventory space will be reduced. What will happen to excess items upon transition to 2.0?
Any plans on making MP regenerate while active and/or encuring enmity in AAR? With TP becoming full and likely regenerating while active and encuring enmity (especially for tanks), I feel it is neccisary for MP as well.
Have the development team finalised whether new jobs will indeed come from existing classes or will it always be 1 class to 1 job?
Will player's characters get fully voiced dialogue in the storyline like Tidus from Final Fantasy X or remain silent like the current version?
For the dungeon conversion to instanced raids and the redesign of the non-instanced areas, will we still be able to obtain the gear that was available in those specific areas? I.e. the Imperial Operative Dalmatica from the H-1 in Castrum Novum or the Darklight Gloves from Aurum Vale, etc.
On thing I like about the current Ffxiv is how your character moves. Will it change in 2.0 if so why?
Will it take time less to replenish Anima and Leves?
At the moment, the only sea event is a single ferry ride between Limsa and the Ferry Docks off Horizon, no other boats moves at all in the active game world. Is there going to be anything added to the seas to make it more lively?
Would you consider adding some form of vanity gear slots if the demand was high enough?

At this point in A Realm Reborn's creation, what is currently the biggest problem that you, Yoshi-P, and your team is facing right now?
Will we be able to go inside buildings and structures (like the Windmills from the Limit Break Trailer) more than in the current version of the game? I'd love to run toward a tower in the distance, go inside, climb to the top, and encounter an NPC that sends me on a series of interesting quests.
The 2.0 PDFs released last year say this:
"Current players" makes it sound like this should have been part of 1.xx's Seventh Umbral Era storyline, but even after patch 1.23b, there's still no geological anomaly anywhere. Is this still coming in the current version of the game, do we have to wait until ARR for it, or has the idea been abandoned?Quote:
One day, a massive geological anomaly suddenly appears from deep within the ground. Current players will have the opportunity to unlock the mysteries surrounding this strange, new landmark in the coming months.
How can we expect seasonal events to change in ARR? Will the events be similar to what we have now, or will there be a lot of differences?
Would it be possible to change gathering classes to hold out and then holster your tool with the active and passive button instead of sitting through the long animation everytime you attempt gathering?
Auto tp regen instead of building it, having to quest for xp, gear score, almost instant timers. All these things that both FF mmo's haven't had and it made them different from every other mmo and it's why I loved and play them cause that made them unique. I welcome some a lot of changes but some of them scare the hell out of me. The last thing I want is to play WoW or a standard mmo with a FF skin on it. How is it going to still be unique in play style and not just using characters or objects from a FF pasted onto a WoW base?
I was wondering is it possible to eventually do more with seasonal events, like putting snow on the ground, or have falling snow weather during winter events, or falling leaves and wind during the fall, flowers everywhere during spring etc.?
Will you be leaving in any pieces of the previous version for nostalgic reasons?
Currently, there is no reason to EVER use a class, jobs are simply too superior, will you be balancing out classes/jobs?
Will you be implementing some sort of costume slot? I really want a red bow on the end of my tail.
