You can't do that with Au ra tails/Miqo'te tails so I doubt you can with Female Viera ears, it would be like changing your nose, it's a body part that grows to a shape and that's it. Compared to hair that can be styled.

you cant, they are like tails and horns, or any other ears (like lala or elezen). the once you choose are permanent. you can only use a fantasia to change them.

That's because it's controlled by the setting that is normally for racial tattoos and Wildwood ear clasps, which can be altered, so I'm guessing the settings available are the same regardless of what exactly is being selected.

We don't have access to the ear/tail shape settings for other races, so probably won't have it for Viera either.

i really like more natural skin and hair tone but now im stuck. i cant decide if veena or rava.

Yeah, but the point is that it's in our eyes. The argument about not being able to change built-in body parts doesn't hold up. It's just a limitation in the amount of items available to Jandelaine.

Or maybe Eorza has light-up magitek contact lenses. In which case, I dunno, Allagan something-or-other.

and the skin tone too (for me) even if i take the lightest rava skin tone, it doesnt fit with the light hair colour i usually choose.
well even if it is normal for viera to have a dark tanned skin and light hair, it doesnt fit in my eyes

If I go back to character creation one more time, I will go crazy lol. I'm leaning more towards Veena though, just because I agree with you on skin tone and how lighter hair colours don't look quite right on Rava. And oddly, I think I like Veena eyes more even though they're more "dull". Plus, seems like the majority of people are going Rava. So I'll feel a little more unique.

its the same with miqote races, most ppl prefer the sun race, moon are still unique. i'll overthink this also some days but i feel with you.

If it helps you two decide between them.

The primary differences between the two in terms of faces, are the Eyes and eyebrows.

The Rava have 'brighter' eyes, and smaller pupils, while the Veena have larger pupils but darker-shaded eyes (you can still get 'light' colored eyes, but their not as florescent so-to-speak)

And the Brows are a bit easier to notice, Rava have longer eyebrows, while the Veena have shorter, more angular, ones.

I personally went with Veena cause i wanted the more 'angular' look as i felt it was more 'bunny-like' than the more human-with-ears look of the Rava. Just wish i could get eyes as bright on the Veena :D

This is the main reason I'm going with Rava. Bright eyes are important to me, which is why I currently play a Sunseeker Miqo! I don't care which is more popular or not, I have to go with the one I like best. :)

we knew the difference between the two races. we just stuck in our decision which we prefer most :)

I was talking more about how their eyes/brows are. They look more human to me than the shorter-browed Veena, Sort of like how Vulcan's look human, but are just that slightly different? *shrugs* wasnt saying Rava were 'bad'. Just my openion on them as to why i like the Veena more :)

I tried the folded ears with my Rava main and I'm not sure anymore which ears I like more.
I'm running the benchmark to compare them all. Only 16 days to decide my Rava's ears. :eek:

I think i'll ultimately got back to the ones that are angled back rather than strait up or folded. Mostly because the ears are 'fixed' and don't animate at all. Folded ears look great in poses and such, but 'combat' wise, i think the angled ones would look more... real? so-to-speak?

I'd go with Pic 2 and the 2nd hairstyle..

Eyes in Pic 2 seem to follow the facepaint better, and the only reason im not using that 2nd hairstyle myself is cause im waiting to see if the "Mark of the 12" is going to still be visable on Viera's when we Fantasia :)

Might change to it once im in-game and can see if its still visable behind the ponytail :)

You're right, folded ears look great in some angles but in the end I like the #4 more.

I would have done the 'clean' one if it had an angled look... but it didnt have a 'highlight' to its fur that matched what i was looking for with the hairstyles :)

The no. 4 hairstyle has highlights on the tips of its ears, combined with the clean look reminds me of artic bunnies, which I quite like the look of :P

I'm so incredibly torn between these three hairstyles. I like the first because it looks elegant. The second looks cool and will have the least clipping issues. And the third is just SO FLUFFY. Jandelaine is going to be making a fortune out of me...

I personally LOVE #3 hairstyle with the pony tail. It's SO FLOOFY!!!!! I'm not as concerned though because we can change hairstyles whenever <3 which means you can swap between them every day if you want to!!!!! :D

I like the angled look too, so ear #1 will be my pick. Plus the little end tufts are to die for. :cool:
