Yes. it is :3
And the beast claws form gold saucer look very cool an them too if you make them in the same colour as the scales are.

That looks so cool! Plus it it backs up my argument that keeping the top on the thavnairian bustier the same if it's made available for men won't be a problem. Most against that are saying that it's too bra like and that there's nothing there to be covered up (we have no nipples so there isn't but that's beside the point). This isn't the only male exclusive version of an item that covers the chest in a manner similar to a bra.
As soon as I saw how the hempen underwear looks on my male char I was like: "Yeah sure but the bellydancer stuff would have been too over the top, right? -.- srsly?"
I think it is disgusting to read all those comments trying to use highly subjective opinions to make some weird point why males shouldn't be allowed to wear those clothes.
I would die for kujas outfit for instance.
But this isn't?

I don't like your choice of race/skin colour 'hair' option aaaaand face paint. But it is your taste. Your charcter. It does nothing to the way I have to play this game. So why try to force your opinion onto other people? Stop using this 'I dont want to look at that' phrase. The paralell to an argument often used in real life in a specific hot topic these days is really showing you not in a good light.
Well I have expected nothing else from a person that writes down stuff like you do. Like i have written leave me my character and i leave your maori version of http://imalbum.aufeminin.com/album/D..._H155024_L.jpg
to you :3
/shrug At least my male character looks like a man.
It looks like he's being possessed by an Oreo Cookie.
Yes, it does, when it's the opinion of not just the majority of people in the world, but damn near everyone. The amount of people that want to cross dress on FFXIV are a microscopic tiny nearly non-existent group of people and spending resources and time on such a small demographic isn't wise. And besides, the main reason people cross dress is for attention, not because they think it looks good. The psychology behind that is a whole other issue.
I still don't know why people are still arguing about it, SE made it clear that they don't plan on saying nor doing anything about it....
What the hell is wrong with you ?
Sorry for me isn't a male belly dancer outfit as example for the current glamour outfit cross-dressing at all Ôo You know if there can be harem style girls there can be harem style guys too.Bunny ears on a male isn't cross-dressing either.
And wow could you just stop attacking a whole group of people that actually exsist in reallife and hurt nobody?
And you dare to talk about that you can't ppl serious?
Come on e.e
Uh, do you ever go outside? Stop watching anime all the time and go out in the world - you'll find little to no men living their everyday lives in women's clothes. But it's a video game, you say? I've been gaming online for around 18 years, and still I can say even in video games cross dressing is extremely rare.
Actually yes I have seen men in dresses before. It's not an uncommon thing for me. No it was not a stunt or a cross-dresser. Maybe you need to get out in the public eye more often.
Insults could be considered personal attacks, which is against the ToS by the way...
Please do not put words in my mouth. I never said anything about it being a video game...
I haven't said anything ban worthy. I've only stated truths that people obviously have a problem admitting. If you think people in REAL life are ridiculed for being a man in woman's clothing, just consider what it will be like ON THE INTERNET where people so easily lose touch with their boundaries - I'm pretty sure this is NOT something SE wants to deal with.
I am a woman in RL and I say let people who play guys (be them women or actual guys) wear whatever they like. If a Roe wants to run around wearing a bridesmaid dress - then let them. :)
Its no different than people running around in choobo outfits, or moogle outfits - or the pure fact that SE put in "emperors new" items so people can look naked. Even if it was only two people in the game that wanted it - doesn't make them any less important that everyone else who would like to see things in the game. ^^
In the end it's their character - let people do as they like when it comes to their characters clothes~!
@Whitemare: By the way - I love the color combo on your Au Ra, I think it looks very nice together~! <3
Lmao, the psychology and reasons for cross dressing are way more than "I want attention!!".
The majority of a lot of people's opinions is in constant flux, however doing things to only appeal to a majority isn't sustainable long term. Like, SE does things all the time for small demographics too. The amount of people who did T13 early one? Small percentage. Guess SE shouldn't make challenging content because of that small demographic. Same thing with the Roegadyn, only a small percentage of people play them, but I guess SE shouldn't bother giving them the ability to wear new glamour options as well.
But, again, this isn't an issue of demographics or social conformity. SE does have an issue with making a few things that only appeal to the main demographic *cough cough* the girl Au Ra *cough cough*, and hopefully they fix those problems. SE's issue is that going from girl to unisex with clothing is hard to model for whatever reason, so they decided not too.
Eh.. I understand that it might get annoying seeing it over and over, but go into the RMT thread or any job complaint thread and say that, it won't be a good idea. Besides, the topic is a case of SE being lazy, it can be changed, it just needs more continual pressure. It's the responsibility of a producer to listen to the consumers, just as it's the responsibility of the consumer to issue complaints or suggestions to the producer with regards to their product.
Small demographics are small demographics, the point is SE could make things to appeal to small demographics before and they could this time, but choose not too because they find it difficult to go from girl to unisex. It's possible, but "Difficult" apparently. Besides, we don't know how many folks would wear/incorporate new clothes made unisex into their clothes, and until SE changes things like the bridesmaid set and thavanarian set into unisex, we never will.
I'd much prefer to see time and effort spent by the developers on making some cool looking or conventionally attractive attire for male characters instead of allowing them to wear gear clearly geared towards female characters.
I keep hearing a lot about how dressing in traditionally female garb is basically a taboo or gross in the real world.
Guess what? This isn't the real world!
Who is just saying "I want to see it?" We're saying "We want equal options". "If men can't have dresses, give them equivalent gear to gender lock to them!" "If it's too hard to make new models, just let them wear the dresses!"
Okay, how would you even define that for stuff like the best man's suit or the Borelo (I think that's the name of it) outfit? How would you make a conventionally masculine variant of the spring set? I can understand the want for it, but it's incredibly hard to think of something more masculine that still fits the theme of the set, such as the best man's suit.
Eh, the model of having the Lightning outfit for women and the Snow outfit for men worked very well in my opinion. I'd like to see more of that and less of an abundance of female only outfits. Even if they make them available to men then those of us who want to dress our character like a man are still screwed over because there's a genuine lack of male only attire to indulge in.
It works, sure, but you're always going to get those girl PCs wanting to wear the men's version (See the suits) and they're going to keep saying it more and more til SE makes it possible. SE already makes some of the "men's" version unisex, so they should do the inverse, it's an unavoidable problem that's only solvable by making more the various sets unisex. Plus, if you make every option unisex, you don't have female only attire, you have more options, et cetera. Girls get to wear more masculine clothing, guys get to wear more feminine clothing. I mean, a suit's pretty masculine in of itself, is just making it "unisex" that much of a feminizing move to the suit? Like, again, what's a masculine version of a suit that keeps the "Wedding" theme?
Then the limitations are just silly. If SE just made the currently girl locked sets unisex and kept doing that whenever they make new sets, then we're good. Men have their masculine sets, the only issue is they're made unisex as well, the inverse however isn't true when it should be.
